The sky was red and pink from the sunset when Taeil opened the classroom door to find Vanessa waiting. She blushed quickly glancing at her cauldron.
Taeil coughed. He placed the book on the desk.
"So?" he asked still not looking towards the girl.
"Page 40, the potion of forgetting," she said.
"Oh that's easy," Taeil shook his head he should stop telling it when this things were only easy for him.
He opened her book quickly reading the instructions.
"Prepare all ingredients," he pointed at the list.
Vanessa smiled, she opened her bag and took a lot of boxes and jars out. She started to count and wight the ingredients as it was written down in the book while Taeil watched if she had done it right. He was distracted, her beauty was something, so unique he couldn't focus. All he did was to stare at her small hands working, her ruffling her nose, her frown, big green eyes catching his. His throat dried, he tried to act calm but he was boiling, how could Jaehyun have the most beautiful girt, this amazing woman.
"No, 50 ounces of dyptan," Taeil stopped her grabbing her wrist when she put too much on the scales, electricity filled his belly so he took his hand away.
The sun was falling behind the Forbidden Forest and it was completely gone when she finished the preparations.
Taeil used a spell to light up all the chandeliers in the classroom. Vanessa was working hard throwing the ingredients into the cauldron and mixing, he assisted, gave advices wherever she needed. Once or twice he stopped her hand from doing something stupid again, couldn't she just simply follow the instructions what was so hard about it, he wondered.
Half an hour later the sky was nearly dark and first stars showed out, Taeil knew it was time for him to go but the potion wasn't ready.
"Put in the last three ingredients, mix it five times clockwise and 15 times counterclockwise and that's it," Taeil began to sweat glancing at the door.
"Taeil you can't leave me with this," Vanessa grabbed his hand. "Just stay and watch if I'll get it right."
He drowned in her green eyes. He took a quick glance outside but the light made it hard for him to check if the moon was out. He hoped she will be quick but she was double cautious and put everything on the weight again. Finally all three ingredients were inside and she made all the clockwise moves, she started to mix counterclockwise when a light from outside filled the room, silver and dreamy causing Taeil to feel a burning pain moving down his body like if an inner beast was waking up from a long dream.
"The moon is out it's so romantic," Vanessa turned to the window when he moved back inhaling sharply. "Taeil!" she spoke his name in a high pitched tone but there was no turning back now as the change had started, his clothes were torn and fur was sticking out, something burned his veins, all human thoughts faded, he felt tons of smells hitting him, including a nice smell of a girl, a smell that attracted him much, and he howled loud filling the class with fear when she screamed.
The cauldron fell on the floor when he jumped towards her pushing her down onto the wood, she tried to fight, there was a piece of wood in her hand, he bit this hand that was reaching towards him and tasted blood, sweet, insanely sweet. She screamed more, her body was fighting on the floor but his claws dug into her robe and skin. He wanted it all, wanted to taste more, when he dived the fangs in her bones and flesh and then cried out green eyes looked straight at him and he remembered she had a name, a name he couldn't speak because he wasn't human anymore, but he has been human from time to time, and she... he removed his fangs off her then howled louder when he jumped to the door tearing it open, someone was running so he moved the straight way, passing some halls, he somehow remembered. He wished to be in the wild hunting for centaurs an squirrels and hippogriffs, but the sweet taste of her blood was still in his snout, he found a door locked and he started to use his claws to tear it apart but it was way too big.
"Headmaster!" shouted someone.
"Let him go, Alohomora," something like a red fire hit the door above him opening it, soon he was outside in the grass, free. He ran till he saw a tree he knew, the high branches started to move above him but he jumped between them till he reached a dark hole at the bottom of the tunnel and he hid in there. It smelled nice, it smelled like his burrow so he moved along the corridor to be where he liked to be, it smelled like him, there were torn parts of his fur here and there on his way, he ran up the stairs but there was something there, a different smell, a human smell and his vision blurred when lust of killing and blood made him go completely insane.
Thank you for the amazing support and love.
What do you think about the chapter? About Taeil turning into a werewolf in the castle? Will Vanessa survive? What will happen when he will meet Jaeyong?
