The air was filled with spells, half of the great hall had exploded the prices of stone were scattering the floor. Taeil was fighting knocking down two Death Eaters, next to him professor Kris who had a bleeding scratch through his forehead, his face pale, but he was fighting.
Professor Hopkinss was trying to get the wounded teachers and students away form the battleground with madame Becky, while professor DO was leading a whole army of armory to the front gate.
Two trolls broke into the first floor and Taeil heard them making a mess, students running away form them. Suddenly there was a light up the sky, a huge and green serpent above the forest. The battle stopped abruptly, while the Death Eaters turned into black steams of darkness flying towards it.
It became very quiet in the castle.
"What happened?" asked Taeil.
"Someone's dead," whispered professor Kris.
"Who?" Taeil felt a cold shiver, please don't let it be Taeyong or Jaehyun he begged.
He could check the Map in his pocket but had no courage when he was standing there frozen watching in horror.
"They will come back we need to prepare for the worst," said professor DO running to them.
So Taeil turned to a place where a huge stone had fallen on a boy from Hufflepuff, he ran there to help to lift it off him then muttered a few spells to stop the bleeding.
He was tired, so tried, he wanted it to end either way but needed to help professor Kris to lift the boy and carry him up when a troll crossed their way but suddenly fell on a wall behind them smashing it into pieces.
"Taeil! Taeil!" someone shouted and he turned to see Yuta and Sicehng both dirty from dust and blood running to him.
"What?" he asked.
"This coward Johnny had blocked the entrance to the Room of Requirement, he is hiding inside with Vanessa and some other Slytherins, Hansol stayed with Mark and Herin but us, Jungwoo and Kun came to help you fight," said Yuta raising his wand. "It was a miracle to reached you, the way through the castle is a horror!"
Taeil looked up to see Kun and Jongwoo who stopped next to a statue both very pale.
"Ok, right now help the wounded," said Taeil turning to the place where Madame Becky was leaning over the linen sheets.
"Right," muttered Yuta shaking Sicheng's hand.
"Taeil," the boy looked up to see Taeyong his heart exploding with happiness.
Jaehyun was right behind him both looked as if they had cried out an ocean of tears but were in one piece.
"Taeyong!" shouted Taeil, Yuta and Sicheng, all ran to him to hug him.
"I thought you won't make it when I saw you and Suho in this room," said Taeil.
"Why?" asked Sicheng.
"Suho is Voldemort," said Taeil causing Sicheng and Yuta to cover their mouths in shock.
"Taeil, you need to go to the meadow behind the north wall of the castle and the lake immediately," said Jaehyun coming to them.
"Why?" asked Taeil.
"Boccamadil needs you there, and be quick, headmaster Chen is dead they're coming for us."
"What!" shouted Sicheng.
"No!" Yuta moved two steps back.
Taeil felt the last pieces of hope he had faded out into fear.
"Taeil quickly it's about Herin's prophecy," said Jaehyun seriously.
"Take care of them," said Taeil leaving them running towards the small passage outside his heart racing.
Headmaster Chen was dead, why, how? He wasn't even here. Taeil was crying when he was passing corridors and devastated staircases, running between stone shreds. He fell outside into the dark fresh night air moving as quick as he could afraid what he will find there.
He reached the meadow, there was a body in the grass, a masked man and Taeil stopped abruptly. He saw the dark strings of Death Eaters flying back from above the forest when he saw two shapes on the small beach at the lake.
He ran there his heart jumping rapidly, he reached it to see Hailey sitting on the sand holding something in her hands when Boccamadil was standing there observing the surface of the lake.
"Boccamadil," whispered Taeil.
"Taeil," she said turning to him a moment later she was in his arms.
She wasn't dressed up in black anymore, a delicate silver night robe was surrounding her body her hair untied.
"What is happening?" asked Taeil when she lifted his face in her hands.
"Taeil it's all important and we have no time, Renjun was hit by a deadly spell."
"No!" cried Taeil.
"Shh, she laid her finger on his lips. He had turned into a phoenix in the last second but the prophecy says only he and defeat Voldemort and he needs to be human to do it."
"No," whispered Taeil realizing immediately what she wanted to do.
"You have to give him the Philosopher's Stone, tell him to never ever take it off, ok," she whispered while he cuddled into neck.
"No please don't leave, I Iove you."
