Moments later he run to the hospital wing and nearly fell off his feet when he heard Vanessa's voice.
"Come here, where are you from?" she was talking softly and Taeil moved behind the curtains of her bed and saw that she was kneeling on the ground caressing the fur of a sweet white kitten with very fluffy thick fur.
"Is it yours?" asked Taeil and she glanced up at him.
He moved back scared but her eyes were calm.
"No, it came here, it's probably scared, escaped from some student and doesn't know the way back," she took the kitten lifting it up while it made nice kitten sounds. "It's so sweet and pretty."
"Yes it is," Taeil blushed. "You're awake," he said.
"Oh I was for days but I didn't want to speak to anybody, I needed to settle with the thought that I'm..." she took a breath and tears appeared in her eyes.
"You can hurt me if it will make you feel better," said Taeil lowering his head. "It's all my fault I know it doesn't mean a thing now but I'm deeply deeply sorry."
Vanessa sat on the bed placing the kitten on her lap, it rolled into a little ball there but it still moved up and down her hands like if it wanted to cheer her up.
"It's also my fault, I forced you to stay when you wanted to go... and I... I just wanted to spend time with you, I knew how to do this potion," her face became red.
"What, but why?" Taeil moved a bit closer to her bed.
"Because I... I like you," she glanced at the kitten.
"You what?" Taeil was shivering. "I thought you hate me... at least now," he said.
"I wish I could," she tapped the mattress beside her.
He hesitated but walked to her feeling the cold wooden floor under his bare feet. He sat on the bed with some distance to her.
"I hurt you I ruined you life," he said.
"You live with this, you study you're still the best student at school," she glanced at him, beautiful green eyes that made him melt. "If someone can help me and teach me to live with it it's you," she said.
"But?" Taeil felt tears storming down his face and the kitten moved from Vanessa's lap and caressed it's head against his leg.
"It was an accident Taeil, you can't feel guilty," she stretched her hand out touching his cheek washing away his tears.
"But I am... a monster," he whispered.
"You're still clever, handsome and amazing," Vanessa moved closer her hand became hot on his face.
The kitten jumped on his lap while she moved closer till her warm breath danced on his face.
"Van.." he whispered.
"Will you leave me now like Jaehyun because of what I have become?" she asked he face so close their noses brushed against each other. "I've heard how you said that you love me," she said and her eyes glittered.
Taeil couldn't think, he forgot how to inhale air, all he could do was grab her small waist in his arms and her lips in his and kiss her gently. He had very less experience with kissing, he had kissed two girls in his life, and both were very awkward and not really good kisses, but now he instinctively knew what to do, how to move his tongue and lips, and the feeling was amazing, one million butterflies awakening in him, he couldn't stop till a very upset Madame Becky came and told them off.
Taeil nearly didn't understand her words when he glanced around with a drunk gaze and then he realized the kitten was gone.
Yuta splashed the water in Myrtle's bathroom over his face. The ghost of the girl laughed at him then disappeared in the pipes. The boy was so torn and shocked. How could he be so stupid to never realize the obvious true, why a beauty like Sicheng never had a girlfriend. It was all so obvious and he has never tried because he was afraid of rejection, and now Sicheng loved someone. Yuta could imagine how is crush walks around the corridors hand in hand with someone else, how they kiss and he slammed his fist against the mirror breaking it into pieces. His hand started to bleed but he didn't care while the door swung open.
"Yuta what are you doing, Reparo!" the shuttered glass flew up from the floor and sink and connected into the mirror again.
Yuta took a deep breath and turned around to see the boy he was dreaming about for years now. Even when he was dating Anastasius he still loved Sicheng only. The boy glanced at him with glittering eyes. The dim lights from the top windows made his skin tone even more dreamy, caramel chocolate...
"Let me handle it," Sicheng moved towards the boy but Yuta hid his bleeding hand behind him. "Why are you like this?" asked Sicheng stopping next to him.
"Go," Yuta leaned against the sink.
"Why?" Sicheng crossed his hands. "Let me handle it," he took Yuta's hand with force an lifted his wand over it, he muttered a spell and the wound healed while Yuta watched Sicheng's face, his long eyelashes and this beautiful insanely big lips, they must be soft - whispered his mind.
Sicheng let the water running and held Yuta's hand underneath the cold stream. He washed away the blood then dried his hand in the hem of his white shirt.
"Why are you like this?" asked Yuta.
"How?" Sicheng had a harsh tone when he turned Yuta's hand watching it and investigating if it's ok again.
"So gentle," whispered Yuta.
"You're stupid," Sicheng wasn't looking at him.
