The Storm

5 years later

It's been 5 years since my almost wedding with Robin. I can definitely say that my life has been better than ever. I married Killian about 3 years ago and I became queen of my land and Killian became king in his. We actually united both our kingdoms and we have grown immensely. I finally found out who Regina really was, not only was she Robin's new love but she was the woman that had broken Killian's heart.

I remember being so mad when I found out but then again if it wasn't for her then I wouldn't be with Killian. Aside from that I have a 2-year-old named Aqua and she is amazing, I love her dearly. As for Robin and Regina, they got married about a year ago and they are expecting their first child, everyone is just happy.

And speaking of happy, today is a very exciting day because we are going to go visit the new land where we are to live in and since Robin's kingdom was in peril of being conquered, we have come into possession of it and we decided to once again unite it with this new land so Robin and Regina can prosper greatly. On this trip Killian, Robin, Regina, and I are on the ship to see the new land.

"You excited to see the new land?" I ask Killian as I see him looking over at the horizon. He smiles, "yes although I miss our little Aqua oh so much." I smile, "yes, I miss her too." This new land is about a three-day trip so we have ways to go. It's night time and a storm seemed to be closing in on us.

"Your highness!" The sailor on the wheel screams to Killian. Killian nods. "Aye what is it?" "It seems that we will not be able to outrun the storm." I gasp. That's when Robin walks up to us and sighs. "He's right, we didn't think of this." Then strong winds started to hit us and lighting started to strike. That's when the water under us started to get wild. It seemed like the ship was going against us. It was so hard for us to even stand on deck.

It started to rain super hard and made the deck super slippery. "Everyone below deck now!" Killian screams. That's when all four of us turn and we see a huge a huge wave forming next to us. Robin grabbed a hold of Regina then Killian grabbed me. All the sailors were just shocked. "Brace yourselves men!" Killian screams and he kisses me, that's when the wave hits the ship.

In a matter of seconds, I am stripped away from Killian's embrace and I fell into the wild waters. I swim back up and I see the ship in pieces. Wave after wave starts hitting me and I feel my life being sucked out each time I get sucked under water. I managed to swim back up and I noticed that I had drifted away from the wreckage of the ship.

I don't see anyone nearby. I tried to swim but the current was too strong. I find someone floating and I flip him over and it's one of the sailors from the ship. I start to shake him to see if he's alive but nothing, he had drowned. I started to cry.

I couldn't see any sign of Killian, Regina, or Robin. I found a piece of floor board from the ship and I got on and floated away. The storm died down 10 minutes after it destroyed our ship. 1 day passed and I come across an island, a deserted island. I get off the board and walk on the sand. I sit on the sand and I couldn'tbelieve what had happened to me. I seriously thought I was going to get eaten while floating on that board.

I look around and I see a man laying on the shore faced down. I run over to him and I turn him over and I gasp at who it is. "Robin wake up!" I scream as I start to shake him. I put my ear close to his nose and I can't hear him breathe. I feel his chest and nothing.

I start to push his chest to see if any water would come out. I put my lips on his and that's when he starts to cough up water. After that he looked up and gasped. "Emma, you're alive?" I nodded. He got up and looked around. "Emma where's Regina and Killian?" I looked at the ocean and sighed. "I don't know."  He shakes his head. "But Regina is pregnant Emma, she can't be out there alone!" He screams.

He starts to walk into the sea and I pull him back. "Robin, you can't, you'll drown." He pushes me away and makes his way into the water. "Please don't leave me!" I scream. He stops and looks back at me. "Please it's not worth it for you to go back, we don't even know if they are still alive." I could see tears forming in his eyes. "I'm scared and I don't want to be alone."

He walks back to me and he hugs me. "Don't worry you will never be alone." We walk back to the sand and we sit down, just letting that fact that we are stranded sink into our brains. Bits and pieces of the ship start to wash up on shore. I look to my right and I see Robin crying. I grabbed his hand and he half smiled. "I was going to have a family Emma, and now I've lost them." "I've lost them too," I said and he sighed. "Oh that's right, sorry I'm just -."  "It's ok," I say as I caressed his hand.

Time passes by and all I could think about was how scared I am but being scared wouldn't solve anything. I get up and I look at the jungle behind us. I start to walk that way and Robin grabs a hold of my arm and stops me. "Where do you think you're going?" "Look for water, food, shelter, people, I don't know something that will help us get home." He shakes his head. "It's too dangerous." I sigh.

"Well we should at least make some sort of weapons wouldn't want something to attack us at night." Robin sighs. "Go get some branches and start to make a fire." Robin nods. "Be careful Emma." I nod. That's when two swords wash up on shore. I go and grab one, "don't worry Robin I'll be ok." He nods and grabs the other sword and we part ways.
