Heart Broken

I wake up and my head is killing me. I look around and I get up and I'm in the captain's quarters. We made it back on the ship? I touch my head and it was bandaged up. I take it off and it's soaked in blood. What happened? I go get a rag and pressed it against my wound and I made my way up to the deck. I look out the horizon and I have no idea where we are at. I then see Robin and Regina.

"Killian you're awake?" Robin smiles. "Aye, where's Emma?" Him and Regina stay quiet. "Where's Emma?" "I need to bandage your wound up again," Robin said totally avoiding my question. I pushed his arm away and dropped the rag, "where is Emma, Robin?" He sighs. "Killian, Emma was taken prisoner by Gregg, I tried to save her but if I tried something he was going to kill her." "What?!" I scream.

"Yeah when you and Emma were climbing the ladder to get up on board, Gregg came and knocked you on the head and you fell and then Emma grabbed a rope and wrapped it around your chest and we pulled you up and when she was climbing up Gregg grabbed her and pinned a gun to her head and he said if I tried to help her he would shoot her." I couldn't believe what I was hearing.

"How long have we been sailing?" "2 days," Regina says while holding Lexie in her arms. I smiled at the baby and turn to look at the sea. "I have to go back and save her." "I wish we could but I don't know how to navigate the seas at night and plus the captain of this ship is very reserved he just said he would take us back," Robin says as he sighs. "So you don't know the location of this island?" He shakes his head. I look out at the horizon and sigh. I will find Emma and I will bring her back home.

A day later we finally arrived to our kingdom. Regina and Robin get on a carriage and they rode back to their kingdom and figure out what has been going onwhile we were stranded. I make my way back home to see my little one. I walk through the doors and my mother, sister, and my in laws come running towards me. My mother was crying as soon as she saw me and Leilani was smiling like crazy.

My in laws hug me as well and that's when I hear a familiar voice. "Daddy!" Aqua says as she's running towards me. I fall on my knees and I hug her. I start to cry like crazy. I look at her bracelet and I smile. "Killian, how'd you comeback?" My father in law asks. "We thought you were lost at sea," my mom says still with tears in her eyes. I stay quiet and Leilani takes Aqua to play and then my mother in law smiles, "where's Emma?"

My heart broke when she said that. I stay quiet. They stood there quietly. "Killian, where's Emma?" My father in law asks. "I lost her, she's lost at sea." I didn't want to tell them anything, I was going to talk to my mother about this but I tried to keep them out of the loop for now. "Well you know that this means you're sole ruler of this kingdom." I nod. My mother in law is crying like crazy and for some reason my father in law is simply quiet.

"So Emma's gone for good?" She asks. I nod."Aqua's going to grow up without a mother," she says as she continues to cry. I nod. "She will know how much her mother loved her," I say to her. She nods as she wipes her tears. "As much as we would love to stay we must go back to our kingdom, say bye to my grandchild," my father in law says. I nod and they both hug me and they leave. My mother hugs me again and then I back away, "how come you never told me that I had a twin brother?" Her face turns pale. "What?"    

"You heard me mother, why didn't you tell me I had a twin brother named Shane?" I scream. "You were little when he got taken away from us, what difference would it make if I had told you that you had a brother." I turn around and she gasps, "wait how'd you know?" I turn back around and we walk to my study.

I close the door and we sit down, "when the ship wrecked we landed on a deserted island and I found my brother there along with father." "Your father?" She asks in a confused way. "How if he's been lost at sea for all these years," she says. I look at her, "what?" "He's been very secretive lately ever since we visited Garrington before you met Emma, he's been so secretive about where he goes and I guess it was because he had found your brother." I nod.

"So where's that island at?" I shrug. "I have no clue, the ship sailed off and I didn't notice where we sailed from and we sailed without her and she was taken hostage by the man that wants to overthrow my brothers reign from the village." She looks at me confused.

"Oh its just that Shane is the king of that island." She gasps. "So how will you look for Emma?" "I don't know but I'm not going to give up my search for her." I say as I look out the window. "I will find her if that's the last thing I do," I say and that's when Aqua and Leilani come running through the door. I held Aqua in my arms, "where's mommy?"

I smile, "mommy is away for now but she will be back soon." She nods and hugs me. "If you ever miss her just look at your bracelet and that will remind you of mommy," I say to Aqua, she looks at her bracelet and smiles.
