Chapter 10:

Serena's POV:

"It's this whole Isobel thing. He's hiding something from me," Jenna said.

"To play devils advocate, maybe there is a great reason why he's not telling you. Maybe he is just trying to protect you." Caroline argued back.

"Well that's not his call to make. I mean, I deserve the truth. Everybody does." Jenna said.

"Sometimes it's harder than that," I added in.

"Not if it's somebody you care about, it isn't." Jenna said.

"You know what we need. Dancing." Caroline said.

"There's a band at the grill," I said.

"I'm in," Bonnie said. "In," said Jenna then Elena. Care nodded.

"Give me a second to get dressed," I said as I ran upstairs and shoved some clothes on. (Clothes in picture!) then I ran back downstairs.

"Let's go girlies!" I shouted as I opened the door for them. They all walked out. I locked the door and followed them.

"Who's car?" Elena asked.

"We'll bring two separate ones in case someone needs to leave abruptly."

"Jenna you bring bonbon and Lena. I will bring Care is my car." I said. They all nodded and got in the cars.

"Why did you choose to take me?" Care asked.

"Whenever you guys hang out, Bonnie and Elena are closer and I think you seem sort of left out. So you and me are going to become besties. Then me, you, Elijah and Stefan can be bestfrannns." I explained.

"Ahhh the infamous Elijah, Serena's new bestie. He seems so formal but with you he calls you Serry." Caroline said.

"Well it's because I got to know him. To me he's not just That Original In A Suit." I said, emphasising each letter at the start of a word.

"Do you like him?" She blurted out.

"No Care, he's like Stefan to me. A brother." I said.

"Do you like Stefan?" She asked.

"No I don't," I said.

"How do you know though, I mean Bonnie didn't know till she kissed Jeremy." Caroline said.

"I have kissed Stefan and I felt nothing." I said.

"When was this?" She asked.

"Last week. I got excited about him calling me a bean. I would have done the same to you," I laughed.

"Meh, just don't kiss me if I call you a bean." She said.

"Wouldn't dream of it Care. That's just bleh. I knew you since we were little." I said. She chuckled. "Come in we're here."

We got out of the car and met up at the entrance with Bonnie, Elena and Jenna.

"You ready?" Elena asked.

"Ready as I'll ever be," Caroline said then we all walked in.

"I need a drink," Jenna stated before going over to the bar.
