Chapter 13:

Serena's POV:

I burst through the doors. "Anyone!" I shouted as I dropped to the floor on my knees out of exhaustion.

"S?" I heard Stefan shout. I looked up and he was standing there. My mouth twitches and Stefan bent down to hug me.

I cried into his arms as he stroked me. "Is Ric ok?" I asked.

"Ric, why?" Stefan asked.

"They didn't let him go?" I asked, my eyes widened.

"Where have you been?" Stefan asked.
Elena walked in and gasped.

"I was with Ric helping him make the greatest apology to Jenna and he left her card in the shop so I went to get it." I explained. "When I came back him and Isobel were talking and someone was lurking behind Ric ready to attack him."

I took a deep breath and carried on. "I called out to Ric but it was too late. A man knocked him out then Isobel sped over to me and I got threw into a car and it smashed. My head was pouring of blood and I passed out." I continued. "When I woke up I was in the middle of Wickery Bridge and my head was healed."

"Are you in transition?" Elena asked.

"That's ridiculous. I think I would know if I was a transitioning to become a vampire," I said. Stefan pulled me up by my chin and looked in my eyes.

"She's fine, but who healed her?" Stefan asked. I shrugged.

"I need to tell you something S. Isobel... Klaus compelled her to kill herself but she wanted you to know she loves you and is sorry she couldn't get to you in time." Elena said.

"Isobel's gone?" I said. Elena nodded then held her hand out.

"She would have wanted you to have this..." Elena said as she held out Isobel's necklace.

"Her daylight necklace..." I said as I took it from Elena.

"Do you want me to put it on you?" Stefan asked. I nodded. He wiped a tear from my face and I smiled at him.

He took the necklace from my hand and placed it around my neck.

"Can I take a shower in your room?" I asked. Stefan nodded and I made my way upstairs.

When I got out of the shower I put my clothes on and Stefan's t-shirt on instead of wearing Damons. I then walked downstairs.

"Stef, I borrowed your t-shirt!" I shouted.

"In here!" Stefan shouted from the library. I walked into the library to see Damon and Stefan.

"Hey Stef, Day..." I said. They were drinking some scotch. I walked over to Stefan and took the glass of him.

"Hey!" He said. I sat on his lap and lay back as I drank his scotch.

"Thanks I needed it babe," I said smirking. Stefan glared at me. "Don't be all grumpy you can have another glass of scotch."

Damon chuckled. "Heyyy! Damon's not grumpy!" I said as I jumped up and went over to Damon.

I sat on his lap facing him. I wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him passionately.

"I was really worried when Elena told me that you got taken by one of Klaus's warlocks." Damon said.

"I missed you too," I said.

"Are you sure because you seem to be clinging on to Stefan?" He asked.

"Is someone jealous? Stefan is irreplaceable, he's my best friend but you... your my boyfriend." I said grinning.
