Little Things

Guys this is so freaking cheesy but I wrote it in like 5 minutes so I don't really care.

Sam noticed the little things. Like how after a hunt didn't go well or when it was just a long day Dean would accept the hug Cas gave him.

How he would steal glances at the angel when he wasn't looking. Or maybe it was the fact that Dean never lost faith that Cas would do the right thing.

Dean tried to hide it but Sam knew. He knew that his brother was falling for Cas.

Dean of course would never admit his feelings. But Sam noticed.

When Cas wasn't there Dean would clean his guns, or go quiet.

Conversely Sam knew how much Dean meant to Cas. Cas came when he called, he healed him when he was hurt, he'd hold him in his arms if he was sad.

Cas freaking rebelled for Dean.

Cas has fallen in every way for Dean.

Sam of course knew this. He's Sam.

But none of this could prepare him for the two extremely meaningful words that they shared years later.
