Dean had one mission: Get Cas under the mistletoe

Cas had one mission: Try to eat as many cookies as physically possible

Now, it should have been easy to get your boyfriend under the mistletoe, but believe me, it's a lot harder than you'd think.

1) You aren't always standing right next to each other

2) How often do you stop under a specific doorway? How often does your boyfriend stop under said doorway as well?

3) When Christmas cookies are the only thing your bf is thinking about it's kinda hard to get romantic

4) How are you suppose to kiss someone who's mouth is stuffed full of cookies?

5) You have a brother named Sam

All these combined make it next to impossible. Dean could always just ask Cas to stand under the doorway quickly as he stole a kiss. But what's the fun in that?

Multiple failed attempts have forced Dean to change his tactics.

"Cas come here for a moment, I need help!" Dean shouted as he leaned against the kitchen counter eyeing the plant hung above the door.

"Okay I'm coming" Cas shouted back and within a few seconds the man appeared in the doorway.

Dean smirked, hoping he had won and got Cas under the mistletoe. But right as he stepped forward so did Cas, he was no longer under the doorframe and held a cookie in his hand.

"You want a cookie Dean?" Cas asked holding it out.

Dean grumbled but took the cookie anyways, why was it so hard to do a simple task.

"Why did you need me?" Cas questioned as he stuffed another cookie into his mouth.

"I just wanted to see your pretty face" Dean said as he stepped closer. Cas quickly swallowed his cookie and used the back of his hand to wipe of crumbs on his face.

"Oh" he said while he stepped closer. The two leaned in only to be interrupted by Sam.

"Hey, I need you two quickly" Sam shouted from just outside the doorway.

Dean rolled his eyes and turned his head towards the noise. Of course Sam had to ruin everything.

"What do you want Sam?" Dean said with an annoyed tone.

"I need your help with these decorations"

Dean winked at Cas "Next time okay?"

Cas nodded with a blush.

This wasn't the only failed time.

"Cas come here"

"No I'm busy"

Or

"You're seriously eating another cookie?"

But when the time actually came it was unexpected.

Cas rested his head on Dean's shoulder as they swayed sleepily to the music. Fingers interlocked, hands holding the other close.

They moved around to the music and soon found themselves under the doorway of the kitchen.

Dean looked up as Cas nuzzled into his neck. With a big smile Dean tapped Cas' shoulder

"Look up"

Cas followed Dean's gaze and a smile broke out on his lips too.

"I believe we're suppose to kiss now" Cas said in that cute way of his.

"Yeah I suppose we are" Dean replied before he pressed his lips onto Cas'.

"You know I love you right?" Dean admitted once they parted.

"I do, I was just waiting for you to say it" Cas smiled "I love you Dean Winchester"

"I love you Cas"

I'm sick, I hate it. Also I hope you guys liked this, Christmas is soon and I feel like I'm not that festive anymore.
