I used the Georgia Swarm because their uniforms resemble bees and I thought it was funny because Cas likes bees and I like the Colorado Mammoths and they play against each other quite often. You don't have to understand lacrosse to read this.
Castiel loved playing lacrosse. He loved being captain for the Colorado Mammoths. He loved how loud the music and screaming got on home turf. Today was game day. He was playing against Georgia Swarm. It was home field which meant all the team members got announced and since he was captain he was very last. The crowd roared as he ran onto field with his signature jersey, shorts, stick and helmet. The crowd absolutely adored him.
On the other hand the opposing team got booed as they came out with only a mumble for their names. Dean Winchester was captain and loved to put on a show. The Georgia Swarm had jerseys that looked similar to bees and had honeycomb patterning on the shoulders. Dean ran out and looked at the crowd surrounding him. They were very loud and proud and he admired it. They started off with the star spangled banner.
Dean kept glancing at Castiel. He sure is one hot captain he thought to himself completely unaware that Castiel was thinking the same thing. The players lined up and Castiel and Dean came head to head in the middle to determine who started with the ball. After fighting and whacking each other with their lacrosse sticks Castiel ended up with the ball and took off running.
The first quarter ended quickly with Colorado winning 1-4. That's when Dean started to spice it up. Music blared as they ran on the field Dean stopped and pretended to play guitar with his lacrosse stick, he moved his hips back and forth as the crowd erupted with laughter. Castiel ran past bumping his shoulder into Deans knocking him off balance. He stopped and looked at Cas who smirked back. He ran and bumped his shoulder into his resulting in a penalty. The crowd yelled out for him to get into the penalty box and he slowly walked and twirled right before stepping in. He saw Cas roll his eyes but a smile threatening the corners of his mouth.
Two minutes passed quickly when he was back on the field. He took possession of the ball and ran towards the goal. Castiel right on his tail. "Get out of my ass Cas." He said. Castiel whacked his stick against deans sending the ball rolling where he quickly picked it up. Dean slammed him against the wall they stood there for a second before Dean knocked his helmet along with his body against Cas'. He pushed away and ran off chasing after the ball. Cas ran after him "I was never in your ass." He yelled. Dean scored a goal and the crowd booed. Dean walked up to Cas. "But I bet you wish you were." He winked. The bell rang signaling the second quarter was over. He playfully pushed Cas' shoulder before running off. "He'll be the death of me." Cas muttered.
The halftime show started and the teams went to their locker rooms to discuss strategy and tactics. Castiel's mind kept wandering to Dean. He was such a flirt, besides he's probably flirting with a cheerleader now he thought to himself. The time went up quickly and they were back on the field.
"Heya sexy" Dean said as he approached the starting position.
Cas felt his cheeks light up and was grateful for the helmet that covered his face. Cas felt Dean's eyes scan him.
"Pretty sweaty ey" he said settling to Cas' eyes.
"Take a picture it'll last longer." Cas said right before they fought over the ball again. Unsurprisingly Cas won it. Again. He was an amazing player. A few goals later Georgia was behind one point.
Cas sprinted down the field Dean following him. Dean whacked him with his lacrosse stick resulting in them both falling. Dean landed next to Cas. He moved so he was straddling him and put a hand on either side of his face. To say the crowd went nuts would be an understatement. Dean rested his helmet on Cas's for a moment before the referee blew their whistle. Dean hopped up and got sent to the penalty box for unnecessary contact. He felt that it was totally worth it.By the last quarter they were tied points 10-10. The game was harsh and many people ended up on the ground or slammed into the wall. Cas had the ball in the last 15 seconds and the crowd chanted his name as he ran for an opening. 3...2... He scored the goal and everyone yelled and screamed. He took off his helmet and walked up to Dean pretending to play guitar with his lacrosse stick being cocky about the win. Dean dropped his helmet which rested in his hands. The crowd laughed as Cas pretended to sing and play guitar in Dean's face. But the whole place went silent when Dean grabbed the back of Cas' neck and pulled him into a kiss. They both desperately grabbed at one another pulling deeper into the kiss before realizing that everyone was watching.
"Good game." Cas said shaking hands with him.
Dean stood there anxious. It took every fiber in his being not to throw Cas into the wall and kiss him senseless. The crowd cheered as everyone lined up and high fived and cheered even louder when Dean pecked Cas on the lips.
"They sure show a lot of affection. Especially when they lost." The announcer joked.
Dean winked at Cas and Cas pushed Dean.
"Do you do this every game."
"No, only when the captains hot." Dean said "and that doesn't happen very often."
"Hey Novak." One of the Cas' teammates yelled.
"What do you want Balthazar."
"Should we be expecting you at our hotel or his."
"Shut up."
"Hey, I'm just making sure."
"Well in that case you should be expecting him at my hotel." Dean chimed in placing a hand on Cas' shoulder.
"You wish Winchester."
Dean winked for the millionth time and ran off towards his team. Castiel smiled, this was by far his favorite game.
