I picked up the small test quickly, examining it, it was split in half, so I couldn't read the result.
Alex could not be pregnant, could she? They are way too clever than that. I shudder at the thought of Alex and Tristan being intimate in that way in the first place, I drop the test back into its original place, I wonder if Tristan knows, what am I saying of course he does,it was in his bathroom.
I splashed water on my face and turned the taps off before shutting off the lights, I climbed onto Tristan's messy bed, both of the sides were messed up, it then clicked that Alex was here before I called Tristan, I felt awful but it made me slightly happy to know that he dropped her to pick me up.
I lay there for what felt like hours before I eventually drifted to sleep, Tristan's scent fresh in my nose, as it radiated from his sheets.
I woke the next morning with the sun blinding me, it was so dark outside when I was sleeping I forgot to shut the curtains. I slid out of the comfy bed much to my dismay but I didn't want to overstay my welcome so I dragged myself to the bathroom, I glanced at the small bin again and sighed, I decided I wouldn't ask about it, we'll find out eventually if she is pregnant anyway, but then again I always assumed the worse, maybe that was the reason he was so irritated last night because he's going to be a father and he was obviously stressed about that.
I made my way to the kitchen and was greeted to Brad and Tris, both shirtless in boxers eating what looked like cereal out of small ceramic bowls.
"Morning." I said to them.
"Afternoon you mean." Bradley laughed.
"Why what time is it?"
"Half 12."
"Shoot I slept for so long." I grabbed a bowl and pulled some yogurt from the fridge and granola from the press, I mixed the two together and began to eat.
"Hey boys." A feminine voice sounded.
"Alex." Tristan and I whispered at the same time, his eyes widened and looked my outfit up and down, I was in his t-shirt and boxers and it didn't look innocent what so ever.
She strutted into the kitchen and glanced me up and down. "Why are you wearing Tristan's clothes?" She questioned and glimpsed at Tris.
"Uh I couldn't get home la-." I stuttered.
"Look I went and picked her up last night, she couldn't get home so I let her stay here, her dress was ripped so I gave her clothes, I slept on the couch, don't worry babe." Tristan told her and kissed her on the cheek sweetly. I smiled sheepishly at her as she tried to figure out if he was telling the truth. I examined her stomach as she stood in the kitchen, it didn't look big, I pushed the thought away from my head because to be honest it was upsetting me.
"So you dropped me home to pick her up?" She asked, her mouth agape.
"She was in trouble?" He said seriously.
"What happened?" Bradley interrupted.
"Nothing." I said quickly. "Look Alex, Tristan and I are friends, all my other friends were busy so I called him, I'm sorry but nothing happened." I set the story straight. "Brad can you drop me home?" I asked him.
"Charlie's in the room waiting for me, I can't."
"Oh okay, it's fine I'll walk."
"You've no clothes?" Tristan said. "I'll drop you." He offered.
"No Alex is here."
"No it's fine I'll wait here, drop her." She said and sat down next to him.
"Okay." I said.
