I woke up to people giggling and shushing one another I sighed as I heard a bang.
I opened my door and saw Charlie sitting on the ground giggling to herself, and Brad trying to pick her up but failing cause he could barely stand himself up and he was laughing because drunk people find everything funny.
They didn't notice me and I had to cough to get their attention.
"Oh shit." Charlie put her hand to her mouth.
"What?" Brad asked quickly.
"I don't know if you can see but Millie is right there." She tried to whisper in his ear but failed because I heard every word and I couldn't help but laugh.
"Hi." Brad said, he stood up straight and saluted.
"Why are you doing that?"
"You're making your angry face." He imitated my face and I laughed once again.
"Did Tristan get home okay?" I hadn't bothered to check my phone to see if I had gotten a text from him.
"Millie!" Charlie suddenly shouted and I got startled.
"What?"
"He was so good, Alex came onto him and he was like 'nah bitch'" she shot the peace sign up after she said this and my stomach flipped at his small gesture.
"Really?" I looked at Brad for confirmation and he just nodded and I smiled.
I walked past the two drunken teenagers trying to get to bed and I grabbed two bottles of water, and some Advil before helping Brad carry Charlie to bed and tucked the two of them up, leaving the water and tablets on each of the bedside lockers, I crawled back to bed and checked my phone.
Tristan- home safe with some McDonald's, I got your favourite, a chicken nugget meal with Fanta, because I missed u, but let me tell you, the nuggets are not helping with the whole missing you thing, love you xoxoxoxox
He had sent it 30 minutes ago so I didn't bother replying but I went asleep with a smile on my face, and butterflies fluttering in my stomach.
-
"I feel like shit." Charlie strolled in at one in the afternoon the next day.
"Morning sunshine." I smiled as I hugged my cup of coffee, my nightgown warming me.
"Why is it so bright?" She moaned as she poured a cup for herself before joining me at the small island.
"Good night?" I questioned.
"Yeah was alright, Alex is-." She stopped herself before continuing.
"You can talk about her you know." I laughed slightly. "You're friends, I get that."
"She's wild, she did bar dancing."
"Oh Jesus." I pretended to laugh, I really despised this girl, I feel like I can justify my hate because she was so awful to me, Charlie didn't cop that I was fake laughing though so she didn't question anything.
"Morning ladies." Brad came in, no shirt and wrapped his arms around Charlie, pressing a small kiss to her cheek.
"Afternoon." I corrected him and he shot me the finger.
"What are you chatting about?"
"How irritating you are."
"Good one." He threw some bread into the toaster and grabbed the butter, before standing next to the toaster.
"You see, I'm not joking, Charlie was just informing me what you did last night, not like you at all?"
"As if, I was sober last night, I applaud your effort though." He winked and it was my turn to flip him off.
My phone started ringing a few minutes later and I answered it after seeing 'Tristan' come up on the screen.
"Hello." I smiled once I heard his voice.
"You're cringe." Brad muttered and again I sent him the finger, ignoring his sly comment.
"Do you want to go for dinner?" I immediately agreed and he told me he'd be here at 6, it was 2 now.
I decided to shower and watched Netflix for an hour before actually getting ready.
I put on my make up, not going too overboard because it was only Tristan.
I was ready too early and only waited a little while before Tris strutted into the living room where I was watching the new Riverdale.
"Turn it off I haven't seen the last 3 episodes!" He screamed once he saw the television, I just laughed and did what I was told.
"Where are we going?" I asked as I gathered my things, keys and phone etc.
"Italian, in the mood for pasta." He told me, shutting the front door behind us, not locking it because Charlie was inside.
-
"So how was last night?" I asked once we were settled in.
"So bad, Charlie and Brad disappeared so I was stuck with Alex for loads of it." He whined and I raised my brow towards him. "Nothing happened." He assured, I giggled because I knew, I trusted him.
"They're the worst for that." I commented and he just nodded.
"Hi I'm Andrew, I'll be serving you two tonight, do you wanna start with drinks?" The blonde boy asked us.
"I'll have a beer." Tristan told him, he scribbled it down before looking at me.
"And for the lady." He shot me a subtle wink and I smiled to be polite.
"Water." I said quietly.
"No problem, I'll be right down." He smiled at me for much longer than normal before he walked away.
"He was flirting."
"You're driving."
"So?"
"You got beer."
Tristan rolled his eyes, but I ignored, he was pissed because I got flirted with.
"Stop being pissy with me, not like I flirted back." I snapped and he looked at me with an amused expression.
"You're cute."
"You're cute when you're jealous." I said back and he poked his cheek inside his mouth.
"Your water and beer, are you ready to order?" Andrew was back.
"I ordered water." Tristan said sharply.
"No you order-." Andrew began but was cut off.
"I ordered water, just get me it."
"Okay, your water darling." He smiled with his teeth at me and I just giggled at Tristan's anger.
