OUTFITS^^
-"I'm so glad we're doing this Mil! We haven't had a girly night in ages!" Charlie exclaimed as she continued to get herself ready, she was currently doing her hair while I worked on my make up, her make up was done as she went and got Alex to do it because Alex is in college for beauty, she offered for me to go but I declined it would of been way too weird.
"You sure you're not mad because we're not doing stuff with the group?" I told her I asked them off but they all had plans.
"No if they're busy it's fine, there's no one else I would rather spend my twenty first birthday with than my one and only best friend." She smiled up at me and I smiled at the thought of how happy she's going to be when she arrived at the venue where everyone was waiting for her. "But we are both taken ladies so we can't pull and that's kind of disappointing." She added and I laughed slightly knowing she was going to get some later in the night.
"Oh well." I tried to act sad but I just wasn't, pretending to be with Connor had begun to get exhausting, I loved him but I hated kissing him and knowing Tristan was kissing Alex.
Her parent wanted to go out for a meal with her family before we went out to the party so that's what we were doing before we went to the party.
Her whole immediate family was here, her mum and dad and then Liam, it wasn't awkward because we decided to talk it out which I was glad of, I didn't want to ruin Charlie's birthday because of a stupid break up.
"So Charlotte you're twenty one now." Christopher, her father began and we both turned our attention towards them.
"For your twenty first birthday, your father and I put a deposit down for a two bedroom apartment, you just have to find a room mate, we will pay rent for 6 months allowing you time to save up and pay your own rent." Her mother, Shirley continued and Charlie squealed.
"Thank you mum and dad, I am so grateful! This is amazing!" She beamed and I smiled at their cute family moment, unlike my parents and I, Charlie and her parents had an amazing relationship, she was their little girl who they adored, and then they had Liam who was perfect, they had a perfect family.
Her mother kissed her forehead as they hugged, her father doing the same. "Anything for my Charlotte." He whispered to her but we all heard, she giggled and pecked his cheek, engulfing him into a bear hug.
We had finished and we're on our way to the venue, slightly tipsy thanks to the drinks we had at dinner, paid for by Christopher and Shirley, I texted Brad and told him we were in the way.
"Mil?" She asked after a few minutes of silence.
I looked at her urging her to continue. "Will you be my roommate?" She asked and my eyes widened.
"Seriously?" She nodded and I smiled. "I'd love to!" I gave her a quick hug and pecked her cheek. "Thank you to much!"
"This is gonna be great!" She beamed and I giggled, soon enough we were outside. "It looks dead." She observed and I tried my hardest not to laugh.
"Be grand sure, we're the life of the party!" I tried to make her feel better but she gave me an odd look which I chose to ignore.
"ID?" The bouncer asked and we showed him, I almost laughed because I knew that he knew that we were renting this place.
It was dark once we entered and we could hear people whispering and I think Charlie caught on before we actually yelled the whole surprise thing but besides that, they all jumped out and scared the life out of me and Charlie too because she screamed louder than I've ever heard her scream before.
