"I don't want to go home." I whined for possibly fiftieth time since we got on the plane, this, this time I was seated beside Brad, Charlie was with Alex so I sympathised with her.

"Did you have a good time though?" Brad asked once we were settled comfortably on the plane.

I nodded. "Best trip ever! Thank you so much." I gave him a small side hug before laying my head on his shoulder.

"We should go on a date, I miss our Madley dates." I said.

"Sure." He nodded before putting his head phones on and completely blocking me out.

Well this is going to be a long flight.

-

We arrived home at 4am, My parents were waiting at the airport for me, I secretly prayed because I really didn't want to get a taxi, Charlie, Brad, Tris and Alex all headed in one taxi towards Brad and Tristan's apartment.

I got home and went straight to bed after washing my face and digging my toothbrush from my luggage.

-
When I woke from my 9 hour slumber, I got straight to work on my Christmas assignments, for college,

I decided to text Charlie half way through because we hadn't hung out without the boys in so long.

Me- hey, you up for Costa????

Charlie- sure! I'll meet you in town? X

Me- perfect, half an hour sound good?

Charlie- perf x

I didn't respond, I quickly pulled my hair down from its bun and did a quick plait in my hair before throwing on a pair of black jeans and white t-shirt, paired with black toms.

I hopped into my mini and made my way into town, I sent Charlie a quick text and let her know which Costa I was going to.

I ordered myself a hot chocolate, it was freezing outside, that's why I opted for a hot drink.

"Oh Char, will you get me a caramel mocha please." A voice said and I popped my head up, Alex. "Hi Mil, Char invited me, I hope that's okay? I don't mean to intrude." She smiled at me.

I shook my head. "No it's fine, more the merrier." I smiled, she could probably tell it was fake though, I wasn't very good at hiding facial expressions.

"One caramel mocha, for you." Charlie smiled and placed the cup in front of Alex, I tried my hardest not to make faces as she conversed with Charlie, I couldn't help but feel guilty because of what happened on the holiday, she had no idea, and I didn't think Tristan was going to mention it, I didn't want her to know, I didn't want anyone to know, I was disgusted in myself, I knew full and well that he was taken, that thought didn't enter my head when we were in the moment.

I tried to shake the thoughts of it from my head, it didn't work every time she even glanced at me I thought about it, Con and Tris we're still the only two people that knew about our little rendezvous, I secretly prayed that would be the only two that would ever know, I would be absolutely devastated if everyone found out, I knew I'd be the bad guy in the whole situation, I knew I wanted Tristan but I didn't want him bad enough to break them up, I wouldn't like it if I had a boyfriend and he did it to me.

"So Millie, how are you?" She asked me, breaking my train of thought. I looked up at her, realising I had been staring at my already cold hot chocolate for god knows how long.

"Oh yeah, I'm good, I've just been catching up on sleep since the holiday." I answered her, fuck, why did I bring up New York?

"Same! Jet lags a bitch." She agreed, laughing slightly.
