It was finally time to go and see the ball drop in Times Square, it was currently 5 to 7, we were leaving here at around quarter past.

I was sat at the mirror, fixing the ends of my hair, it was half up and half down, curled at the ends. I then started on my make up, I wanted to look good, like really good, partly for Tristan, party because I wanted to look better than Alex, which was petty, but I didn't care.

A knock sounded from the door, breaking me from my thoughts, I opened it to reveal Tristan.

"Hi?" I sort of questioned, wondering why he was here.

"I uh, had to give this back to Connor." He stuttered, gesturing to a t-shirt he held in his hands.

"Oh, he's in the shower." I said. "You can leave it on his bed." I pointed to the bed that was cluttered in clothes, he was checking his phone when I turned back to him.

"Oh good." He smiled, gripping my waist and pulling me towards him, his lips touching mine ever so slightly, I melted into his kiss and he pulled away ever so slightly.

"I have to go." He said and began to leave.

"Connors shirt?" I questioned.

"Oh yeah." He laughed, and placed the shirt on the bed. "See you later." I closed the door once he said this, Connor walked out, a towel wrapped around his hips.

"Tristan dropped a t shirt off, said it was yours." I informed him, pointing to the t-shirt.

"That isn't mine?" He laughed, holding the t-shirt over his body, even I could tell it was Tristan's, it went all the way to Cons thighs.

"I don't know? He said it was yours?" I said and furrowed my eyebrows, I picked my phone up and saw I had 3 texts,

Bella- Happy New Years! Enjoy tonight x

Mummy- Happy New Years! From dad and I, we love you, stay safe x

Liam- I know this is weird but I just wanted to apologise, sorry for every thing, hope next year treats you well x

It then dawned on me that it was midnight back home, is that why Tristan kissed me? I shook the thought out of my head, it probably because he saw the chance and took it, I replied to Bella and my mum, telling them the same. I pondered on Liam's message for a bit, it was quite odd of him I thought. I decided to not reply, it completely threw me off and I didn't want it too ruin my night.

"You ready?" Connor snapped me out of my thoughts, I nodded at him and grabbed my essentials. I was wearing a purple/wine top with cut out shoulders, long sleeves and black jeans paired with black Chelsea boots.

"You're going to want to bring a jacket." Tristan commented, once we joined them in hallway as we made our way down to the car that was bringing us too Times Square.

"I'll be fine." He shrugged at my reply and we didn't speak again.

I completely regret not bringing a jacket, it was freezing and it was only half 8, we had another 3 and half hours to wait.

"You cold?" James asked.

"No I'm fine, never been better." I replied sarcastically.

"I told you to bring a jacket." Tris laughed as he wrapped his arms around Alex's waist, leaning his head on her shoulder, I shot him a look.

"Why would I listen to you."

"Well sometimes I can be right, and in this situation, I am." He poked his tongue out at me to which I threw the fingers at.
