^i feel horrible for not updating in over three weeks so i hope this surprise update makes up for it^
When Vienna woke up the next morning, after she got dressed in her normal band shirt and mom jeans, she peeked her head into her room where Venice was sleeping. She was sweating, even with a thin sheet on her skin, and she was out cold as Vienna felt her burning forehead. Vienna's face crumbled, and she left the room silently, and grabbed her phone out of her back pocket.
"Hi, I'd like to schedule a doctor's appointment for my younger sister." She spoke, and made arrangements that were long overdue.
Hair that was tied behind her back bounced on her shirt as she traveled down the stairs. She walked into the kitchen with her phone in her hand and placed it down on the counter when she went into the fridge to get a glass of water. A knock on the door halted her effort, and she closed the fridge to travel over to the front door.
"Louis?" Her shocked expression greeted the blue eyed boy.
"Hi, love. Thought I'd drop by for a visit. I hope you don't mind." He explained, a small duffle bag hung on his shoulder.
"C-come in, sure." She stuttered, caught off guard by the way he looked at her with a bright smile so early in the morning. "Do you plan on staying here?" She inquired.
"If you don't mind." Louis trailed off, and Vienna heartily agreed to let him stay. "I heard you got in a falling-out with my mate." He addressed. Vienna sighed, watched as Louis sat down on her couch, and she joined him.
"Yeah, I guess. I'm just not sure whether I'm overreacting or not." She huffed out.
"Vienna, I consider us friends. And as your friend, if you feel comfortable, just tell me." Louis stated, and Vienna's eyes widened.
"He stole something from me, but it was supposed to be a kind gesture. He just didn't know that it had sentimental value and I can never get it back." She explained. "I'm probably overreacting, but it really hurt me. And I don't mean to hurt Harry, or be rude but I'm just kind of processing." She continued.
"No, I get it. I mean, I'm not the most emotional person, but I can understand where you're coming from. But I also know that he didn't mean to hurt you." He empathized, placed a hand on her shoulder soothingly. She frowned.
"I'm not trying to hurt him, I just needed a little time to think."
"Needed, as in past tense?"
"Maybe, I'm not sure." Vienna huffed, her chin dropped to touch her chin, her gaze falling to her lap. Louis squeezed his grip on her shoulder.
"I kind of know what you're going through. My mum died in December of last year, so I can grasp how you feel." Vienna calculated the two months that it had been since Louis had lost his parent. She moved her hand up to grasp the one he had placed on her shoulder, and held it.
"I'm sorry, Lou. I didn't know." He shook his head in acknowledgment as there was a knock on the door and Vienna hesitantly stood up. She walked over to the door, where Harry was standing on her front porch, his face hidden by a bouquet of red roses. The only way she identified him was by the tattoos on his skin and the Chelsea boots on his feet.
"Hi Harry." She greeted a little sheepishly, her right foot hiding behind her left one, her hair fell in front of half of her face. His green eyes peeked out from behind the contrast of the red roses, and a sad smile covered his face.
"Hi duchess." He returned, the roses slowly descended from covering over half of his face to only his chin. "I just wanted to tell you that I'm sorry... again, and I wanted to bring you roses as an appreciation." He explained.
"Appreciation for what?" She questioned as she safely took the roses he had handed her into the cradle of her arms.
"For being a part of my life and being the one that I am falling for. I couldn't pick a better person to get to know, and I just wanted to tell you that. And I never want to hurt you like I did, again." He replied, and her heart grew at his affections. She placed the roses on the table next to the door and then pulled him into a hug.
His arms curled around her waist, and hers around his neck, their grips on each other tight. He kissed her temple repeatedly, and she breathed in the smell of his cologne. Their embrace was cut short by the clearing of a throat in her living room. Venice was sat on the couch next to Louis, where she had her arms crossed, and Louis was smirking at the sassiness of the younger James.
"May we help you?" Vienna asked her younger sister.
"Keep the pda to a minimum in the living room please." Venice responded.
To her sisters request, Vienna quirked an eyebrow, and grabbed the back of Harry's neck, bringing his lips down to hers in a passionate make out. Vienna could faintly hear the roar of Louis' 'ohhhh' while she imagined her sister's face. But then her mind was brought back to the pressure of her lovers lips against her own, the weakness of her knees, and the knot in her stomach. They both pulled away at one point, and Venice hauled in a shaky breath.
"Woah." Harry mumbled, and Louis laughed.
"Dear Jesus please cleanse my eyes." Venice acted.
"I'm sure you and Jared have done much worse." Vienna shot back, which made her younger sister blush.
"Little V, did you get it on?" Louis asked incredulously.
"Maybe." The youthful one answered. Louis shoved her into his grip, and tackled her on the couch innocently.
"Are you being safe?"
"Oh dear god, Louis." Venice groaned.
"It's a simple question." He retorted.
"Yes, we were, but we ended it, so please stop your questioning." She pleaded.
And even though her life was erratic, Vienna lived a pretty sweet life and she loved it.
