A green headscarf. One simple thing that Vienna noticed on the new neighbor that had her tilting her head. It wasn't the 'obsession' sweatshirt, or the skin tight skinny jeans that surprisingly looked good on him, no it was a headscarf. But Vienna quickly shook her head, glanced at him once more through the window, and walked off to stop the screaming pot of tea.

Vienna could already smell the fumes of paint from her room, and it made her happy. Oh god, painting made her so happy. The quietness, besides the music she would play in the background, the stillness of everything around her besides her brush strokes. It was cloudy out, her favorite type of weather besides the terrifying thunderstorms that regularly happened, and she was so ready to paint it.

"Via!" Venice, her younger sister yelled through the house.

"I'm painting." And Venice left her alone.

Vienna and Venice had a very odd relationship. Ever since their parents had died when Vienna was seventeen, they had clung to each other. They were close in the way of best friends, even though Venice was five years younger. And Vienna, a nineteen year old had been able to support them both with the money from their parent's life insurance.

And after the funeral, Vienna sort of isolated herself. Venice didn't as much, because she was still a student, and had to go to school, but she left her popularity for a small group of friends. Vienna, oh Vienna turned to her painting.

"I'm going to buy food and bug Matty." Venice announced, popping her head in to see Vienna finishing up her brush stroke.

"Make him leave his shift and buy us some pizzas, okay?" Her elder sister replied, and Venice smiled, nodding in agreement.

"Aye aye, captain."

And Vienna, the isolated introvert, was left alone.
