"This is so weird." Jay commented, and Venice laughed.

"What, the fact that your laying in between my legs and staring at my stomach?" Venice shot, and Jay smirked.

"I've been in between your legs before and it hasn't been weird. But that time I was staring at something else." He teased, and Venice fought back a blush.

"Okay, so what's weird?" She redirected the conversation, and Jay didn't have the heart to tease her about it.

"The fact that there's a baby in your stomach, and we made it." Jay answered, and pushed her shirt up to her ribs to kiss her stomach.

"You knocked me up, dude." Venice spoke, and Jay rolled his eyes.

"I'm not 'dude'. Don't call me 'dude'. That makes me sound like a blonde surfer."

"Well then, what do I call you?" Venice played along, liked the banter they had.

"Baby daddy? Or baby?" And then Jay smirked mischievously and met her gaze. "Or daddy's fine too."

Venice let out a scoff noise to disguise the choke in her throat, and Jay laughed at her expression. He kissed her stomach once more and she thought of something to break the comfortable silence.

"I like you a lot." Venice stated, and Jay's heart warmed.

"I like you too, Venny."

Jay stayed with his head laid on her stomach, and rubbed over the skin with his thumb a few times. He was a bit awestruck by the fact that his long time crush actually liked him, and enough to hold his child in her stomach. They had a bit of a rocky start, that was for certain. For example, the reason that they had first hooked up was because they were both drunk and Jared was being an asshole to her.

"Venice, you're being a bitch. I was just talking to Sarah, chill." Jared had defended himself.

"I saw the texts between you two, Jared. You're cheating on me and you don't even have the guts to admit it to me." Venice stated, and Jared's eyes hardened. Jay stepped in a bit to them, in case it got physical and he needed to step in.

"Sarah is none of your business. And how dare you go through my phone." Jared growled, Jay shifted on his feet in worry for Venice.

"Then I'm not your business, Jared. We're done." She announced, and went to step away, but Jared grabbed her wrist, caused instant bruising on her porcelain skin.

And that was when Jay stepped in.

"Hands off of her." Jay demanded, as he got in Jared's face. "Don't do it man, you don't hurt women. It's not okay, and you have to own up to guys like me." Jared let go, and Venice shuffled away. Jared walked away from Jay, refused to acknowledge that he had surrendered to him.

Jay went after Venice, who was outside, and jogged up to her. They both sat down on the grass, and she looked at him.

"Thanks for that, in there." She spoke, and Jay brushed it off.

"I just didn't want to see you hurt." He told her honestly. She smiled in appreciation at him, and he looked down at his feet.

"I'm Venice." She introduced.

"I'm Jay." And that was the beginning of them.

Even though their start was a bit rocky, they had made it through harder things than that. Venice had to tell Jay that she was pregnant, to which he gave her the unexpected reaction of passing out. Then they had to figure out how to be together while she was pregnant, while she had cancer.

And Venice realized that they were good together.

"Hey, how's it going?" Vienna asked as she came into the room.

"We're doing great. A little hungry, but great." Jay answered for his baby mama, who rolled her eyes.

"Then get your own food, Jay. You know this house well enough. God knows you spend nights here that I'm not supposed to know about." Vienna teased, leaned against the doorway as the two teenagers blushed.

"I don't know how you know these things, but it's freaky." Venice told her, and Vienna grinned.

"Well at first I thought Harry was trying to open the front door, but then I didn't hear him taking off his shoes at the front door, and I knew it wasn't him." Vienna explained.

"Oh my god, I would go gay for that man." Jay swooned, and Venice hit his head. "What! You would too!" He accused of the girl laid underneath him.

"Okay, too weird. My little sister with my boyfriend is not a mental image I'd like to have. I've had my daily max out of Jay." Vienna thought out loud, and walked away.

"But now I'm curious. If Harry ever asked you to, you know, 'get down', would you?" Jay inquired, and Venice flashed him a disgusted expression.

"That's too much." Venice cringed. "Oh my god, we're not talking about this." She shuddered, and Jay shifted up and behind her so he was spooning her.

"Alright fine." He backed off, and they spent the rest of the night soaking up each other's presence.

The time that they spent together was cherished just by the fact that they were together. They just fit. They were that couple, the best friends couple that everyone likes because they're friends before lovers. Jay was still coming around to the thinking that Venice was his lover. Venice was a bit upset that it had taken all the way for her to get cancer and break it off with Jared the asshole to find the real gem that had been pining over her silently for years.

"You're kind of cool, you know?" Venice asked him, and he kissed her cheek.

"I think you're cooler than me, but yeah."
