Summary: Dan fancies Phil. Phil has a girlfriend. Dan gets a girlfriend. Phil fancies Dan.

Dan's POV

It's not fair, I've liked him for so long ... he's just so oblivious! I watched him as he happily laughed with his girlfriend. Why can't that be me? It's completely unfair! I stared at his beautiful features, dark raven hair, bright blue eyes, pale skin and highly kissable lips which were unfortunately being occupied by Natasha. I wanted to slap her and push her away but I know that's unfair on her. She really was a lovely girl.

She's just ... standing in the way. Their gooeyness was making me sick and I needed an escape. I jumped up from the couch, "I'm heading out." I mutter just loud enough for them to hear.

"Oh, where to? It's nearly eleven at night!" Phil frowned. It was cute how concerned he was about me. At least he still cared for me as a best friend, even if I couldn't have him he was still a perfect best friend.

"Just out, I feel like it." I shrug and leave without hearing his reply. I walk down the street, frowning to myself and muttering things to myself. I must have looked a bit weird to people passing by. I took a turn into the park, not looking where I was going and CRASH! I only go and crash into someone.

I groan as I hit the concrete but stop myself from swearing out loud. I sighed, how could this day get any worse? I looked up and nearly slapped myself when I saw a girl on the ground, clutching onto a lead which her yapping dog was attached to.

"I'm so sorry miss." I apologized, feeling horrible. I jumped to my feet and walked over to her and offering my hand to her.

"It's alright." a foreign accent replied, it sounded weirdly nice. When she looked up I sort of froze, she had beautiful eyes. Bright dark blue eyes with a thick canopy of lashes hooding them and casting small shadows. From the dim light I could see she had a faint tan, rosy lips and dark hair. She was very beautiful. I snapped out of my daze and helped her to her feet.

I looked down at the dog which had stopped barking. It was a small white Maltese and it was sniffing around my ankles curiously. "I'm so sorry." I repeated.

"It's fine, really. It's my fault too, I wasn't looking where I was going." Her adorable accent continued.

"No, really. It's my fault, I'm just not in a good mood, I was the one not looking where I was going." I tried to persuade her.

"Lets say it's both our faults." She giggled, it was quite adorable.

"Um, sure ok." I smiled. "Sorry for being nosy but accent is that?" I asked, curiously.

"Oh its fine, it's Latvian, I can see why you'd wonder what it was." She smiled.

"I've never been to Latvia, I've heard it's amazing though." I said, not sure where I was going with this. "Sorry, you probably don't want to talk to me anymore." I sighed and started to turn and go. I felt her hand wrap around my wrist and pull me back.

"No, no it's fine. It's nice actually, I don't really know anyone here, it would be nice to make a friend." She said shyly.

"Oh really? Why would you want to be friends with me?" I joked.

"You seem nice enough." She giggled, which made my heart flutter slightly.

"Oh thank you." I grinned.

"So, you live around here?" She started conversation, whilst we started walking.

"Just up there." I pointed in the direction. "What about you?"
