'Tintin meeting Shy!reader at the library'(Your Pov)
"Book of seas....The seas History." I babled as I put the books up at it's places in the book-shelf. Someone had been rude and not placed the books at it's place after reading it.
"Why are people so messy and ignorant?" I said outloud and glided down the ladder and landed on the floor without falling over, thank god."Um, excuse me?" A male voice said from behind, I turned around and there stood a boy about my age. He had ginger hair, a blue sweater and.....is that a quiff? He was kinda....cute.
"Y-yes? How c-can I help you?" I slapped myself in thought, why? Why did I have to be so shy?!"I'm looking for some books about old ships, or legendary ships." He said kindly, for a moment I didn't listen, I just kept staring at him. Until I shook my head, gaining my focus back.
"Of course," I motioned for him to follow me and I climbed up another ladder and read the titles of books until I found 4 books of ships. I slided back down and handed him the books.
"I hope t-these are too your liking?" I stutter slightly. He gently took the books from me and smiled.
"These will do lovely, thank you...?" I blushed lightly and rubbed my arm."(Y/N)..."
"(Y/N)," He repeated and his smile grew a bit bigger, and it made me blush more. "Thank you!" He said and turned to a table. But before he did it I placed a hand on his shoulder, making him face me again.
"I-If you need any help, I'll be a-at the desk over there," I problably looked like a tomato by now.
"I will, thank you (Y/N)." He then walked towards a table, that's when I noticed a little white dog following him. That's when it clicked. That was the journalist Tintin and his dog Snowy! I put a hand to my cheek and geez was it warm.
I turned around and headed for my desk."Oh my god..." I mumbled as I sat down, Tintin. THEE Tintin. I've read his paper for 8 months now. And I really love his work.
"I can't believe I just met him..."
"I can't believe I just met him..."
"I can't believe I just met him..."
"I can't believe I just met him..."I problably repeated those words till my shift was over. And I felt so warm at my cheeks, I thought all of my blood had moved to just be there. I slammed my face into the desk.
Worst, yet best day ever.
