A/N: I know, I know. I've been a ghost, but here's the good news:
NEXT THURSDAY IS THE LAST DAY OF SCHOOL FOR ME!!!
Which means, I can go back to updating pretty much everyday!!!
There's still hope for me! YEAH! Hopefully, none of you have given up on me and my stories, cause I'm thinking once I'm done with After Effects I'm going to try something new. Here's the shocking part...it won't be fanfiction. Before you start screaming...I'll still ALWAYS do Keeper stuff, but I wanted to come up with my own content with my own characters. I'll keep you posted if my idea ever gets posted, but it'll be my new project once I'm done with this story! Without farther udo....THE STORY
I nervously tapping my foot, waiting for Dex to arrive. School's back in session, because everyone is giving up hope on Sophie. They either think she's dead, or soon will be. Grady and I haven't given up hope, neither has Edaline. Although, I think she's hurting the most, or makes it the most obvious in a not obnoxious way.
My thoughts were interrupted when I saw the dimples. Immediately I could feel the blush making its way on my cheeks. I walked over to him, trying not to loose the little cool I had left.
"Hey Dex," I smiled with a hand wave. Why did I wave? I must look so dorky to him!
"How are you doing? Does it hurt? Are you okay?" Dex asked, his eyebrows furrowing.
"I'm fine!" I said with a light laugh. We stared at each other and then I realized what I came here to do.
"Oh! Right! Well, this is for you," I said awkwardly handing him the package.
Dex's face got red, probably embarrassed that I was giving him something.
"You didn't have to do that," Dex mumbled, handling the box delicately.
"I wanted to, you deserve it," I said quickly.
He opened it, and his eyes lit up, his mouth curved up in a wide grin. He hugged me tightly for a second, surprising me, before letting go and turning the box over and over.
"This must've been a fortune!" He exclaimed looking at all the new tools.
"Well, it looked like you might need some more. There's also this cube thing that allows you to--"
Dex cut me off, "It allows you to hook wires and syncopaters that don't have electric currents together!"
"Yeah, that was exactly what I was going to say," I looked at him admiringly.
Dex gave me another hug, this time it lasted longer. I sank into his arms, he's grown a lot lately. He's now towering over me. Probably a good five inches.
I heard someone clear their throat and we split apart.
"Thanks again for the tools Biana," Dex smiled, his whole face beet red. Although, I'm sure mine was the same.
"Anytime," I smiled, but then wanted to beat myself with my own shoe.
Fitz crossed his arms and was glaring at Dex, "I can't believe you like him!"
I scoffed, "Could you keep it down?"
Fitz turned away, but I grabbed his sleeve.
"You should come back. It's been six months," I whispered seriously.
He didn't look at me and clenched his jaw.
"I've got to go to Telepathy, I'm already late," He said walking away swiftly.
I let out a frustrated huff.
"FITZROY AVERY VACKER," I shouted. He immediately stopped and trudged back to me.
"What?" He snapped.
"You don't get to do that anymore! You have to stop acting like this is only effecting you! Sophie's gone, but she was my friend too! She was my friend too," I said softly as I started sobbing.
Fitz's features immediately softened and he wrapped himself around me.
"It's going to be-"
"No it's not! It's not okay that dad is bent out of shape and you are so angry all the time! It's not okay that mom hasn't been eating cause she's so worried about you! And it's certainly not okay that you are ignoring me! So don't you dare tell me everything's going to be okay, cause it isn't," I threatened, my voice becoming dangerously low.
I turned away and saw everyone in the hallway staring at us.
"WHAT? Is there something you all think is valuable enough to say right now? Anything to add? No? Well get to class!" I said storming out of the room.

Fitz
I watched Biana storm away, and I started crying silently. I knew in my heart I was acting like the worst brother ever. Yet, I never did anything to change it.
Instead of going after her, I walked to Telepathy like the coward I was.
Tiergan looked at me as soon as I entered.
"Tomorrow. It's happening tomorrow," He said his face ashen.
"I'm not ready," I said my voice quivering.
"Well you'll have to be," Tiergan said, rolling up his sleeves.
Tomorrow, we were going to try our second attempt at saving Sophie.
The first time completely failed. We were ambushed before I even opened my mind into Sophie's. We had to lightleap away before anyone got hurt.
Now we were going to try again, but I couldn't dwell on it. Tiergan was already preparing me for tomorrow's difficulties.
A/N: YEAH!!! I UPDATED!!!
