I was in a special room with Keefe and Biana.

"I can't believe Dex's mind is broken and they aren't going to let me help him!" I grumbled.

"It'll be alright. We can sneak in there and do something," Keefe said, giving me a hug from behind.

Biana still didn't say anything.

"You okay Biana?" I asked.

She turned around with tears in her eyes.

"This is all my fault. If I hadn't--"

"No, don't think like that. It's no ones fault but the weird flower disease thingy," Keefe said immediately.

"You can't think like that," he said softly, walking over towards her.

She didn't look anyone in the eye and slightly nodded her head.

"I'm going to try something," I said.

"What?" Keefe asked giving me an uncertain look.

"Well, I'm going to try to enter his mind from here. Maybe since I know him I can heal it from here," I shrugged.

"It's worth a shot," Biana said.

I closed my eyes and concentrated on finding Dex' thoughts. It took a while until I heard someone shouting BEX AND BIANA over and over again.

"Found him," I whispered.

I slipped into his mind, and was shocked to feel like I was stuck. Black oily tar enveloped itself around me, trying to engulf me like quicksand.

I started squirming, trying to get free, but I didn't know what to do. So, I relaxed and let it drag me down. Maybe it was like the entrance to Exile.

I fell down into a chamber where chain from all points of the room were keeping Dex in place. The chains were pulling at his limbs and his face was contorted in pain.

Maybe this was his secret nook?

Dex.

Dex.

Dex.

Hey, it's me Sophie. Biana, Keefe, and I are really worried about you.

I kept talking to him as I transmitted images of Biana and all of his friends. Then it was his family, and I started to inflict love and happiness. However, I still got no response.

Dex, come on. We all need you. It wasn't your fault. Please come to me voice.

Still, I got nothing. I felt someone tug my arm, and I was pulled out of his thoughts.

"Sophie? Sophie. Are you seeing this?" Keefe asked, still tugging on my sleeve.

Almost zombie like, Dex appeared in front of the room we were currently in.

"What how?" I asked. "His mind's still broken."

"I know, but how'd he get past all of the doctors?" Keefe asked.

Biana was walking towards him.

"Dex?" She whispered softly.

He didn't respond. He just kept mumbling Bex and Biana, over and over. His eyes were closed and drool was coming from the corner of his mouth.

I briskly walked past Biana and over to where he was standing and entered his mind again. This time when I entered the room with Dex chained up, I walked over to the 'Dex' and entered his mind. Weird, I know.
