A/N: ANOTHER UPDATE IN ONE DAY???? WHAT?!?! I know. See there is a crazy storm where I live and we were supposed to go to the mall to get ear rings for my dance recital. Cause, being the amazingly special person I am, I'm allergic to pretty much everything. Jk, I just have really sensitive skin and platinum, which is really expensive, doesn't irritate my skin and my mom talked to a jeweler and they said surgical steel is the cheaper way to go. Anyway, it started storming so I went home and was bored. I also felt like writing some SoKeefe cuteness and so yeah.

I'm updating for the third time today.

Sorry for that BORING LONG authors note.

FEW DAYS LATER:

Dad and Howie came to check up on me.

"You hungry, Soph?" Howie's little voice asked.

"Um, not really. Can I actually go out tonight? Some friends want--"

"Are you going on a date?" Dad asked crossing his arms.

My face got red and I was flustered, "Ah date? What? No! Okay, yes. I am. Only because mom said it would be a good idea to get to know the people on our lists!"

"Who is it?" He asked sternly.

"Um....a boy?" I said, but it came out more of a question.

"And his name?" He asked tapping his foot impatiently.

PLEASE SHOUT MY NAME! DAD'S GRILLING ME!

I telepathically screamed at mom.

I gave a big smile, and then I heard the angels sing.

"SOPHIE! COME DOWNSTAIRS! I NEED YOU!" Mom shouted.

"I better go get that," I said.

Dad grabbed my arm, "Not so fast! The boy's name?"

"SOPHIE!" Mom shouted.

"I'll tell you later, don't worry." I said quickly running down the stairs.

"So, who are you going on a date with?" My mom asked with a twinkle in her eye.

"Luis, my number one, actually asked me," I whispered to her.

"Luis...?" She trailed off.

"Councilor Bronte's nephew or something like that," I whispered.

"And you didn't tell Grady because....?"

"Well, I didn't want him to decapitate him yet."

"Smart, save that for the second date," she winked.

I rolled my eyes and let out a laugh.

"Would you help me get ready?" I asked shyly.

"I was waiting for you to ask!" She laughed as we ran upstairs.

~~~
"You should either wear the purple or the red dress," Mom said.
