It's been a week since Eliza ignored my call. A week since I last saw her. She moved to Miami without looking back and I've spent a week in my bed, surrounded by snotty tissues and stale pizza. I'm pathetic.
"You are pathetic" Told you. "Get up! So she got away, life must move on Robbins" I groan as Teddy rips open my curtains and I pull my blankets over my head, trying to shut her out. "I love you, you are my soulmate but you need to get that hot ass up out of bed and get back to living. My husband died but you don't see me in bed, wasting my life away"
"Low blow man" I grumble as she pulls the blankets back.
"Sofia misses you, you can't just shut yourself off over one girl Hun. Sof needs you. If she's the one, it'll work out but don't stop living" She pulls me up and into the bathroom and I sigh.
"I know I screwed up. Again. Maybe I'm just meant to be alone"
"No, it just isn't the right time. It'll will happen when it's meant to. Right person, wrong time sorta thing. If she is the one, it will happen. Hop in the shower and I'll make us some coffee" I nod and she leaves my bathroom, shutting the door and I sigh, turning the shower on.
30 minutes late I join Teddy downstairs in the kitchen and she smiles softly.
"Coffee, sweat pants and a shit tonne of junk food. Now we just need good movies and we will be set"
"How is this going to help?"
"Trashy movies and shit food always help. When Henry died you didn't let me waste away. Now that you've had time to sulk about a girl, we are going to sit in front of the TV and eat until we can't eat any more and then sleep it off. I promise you, you will feel better afterwards."
"I don't do movies but we can binge watch shows" I sigh, knowing that she won't leave until she's sure I won't go straight back to bed and stay there for the rest of my life.

"Callie I need this"
"No. That isn't going to help you get over Eliza"
"It's not about getting over her. I need to see her"
"She made her choice Arizona, she left"
"Because I kissed you. I would have left too, had I walked in on her kissing her ex wife. I need a proper answer, I need closure, I don't know where I stand" I sigh, frustrated. "Please just come pick Sofia up"
"No. You haven't seen our daughter in a week. Go tomorrow"
"Sofia doesn't want to be here. She's upset with me"
"I wonder why that is"
"Don't be a bitch"
"Arizona, go tomorrow. You haven't seen Sofia in a week, she's upset because she misses you" Callie hangs up and I sigh, resting my head in my hands.
"Can I have a drink of Milk?" I look over at Sofia as she enters the kitchen and I raise an eyebrow "Please?"
"Are you still upset at Mama?" I ask as I get up to get her a milk. She shrugs as I put the milk back in the fridge.
"Did Eliza hurt you?"
"No. I hurt her" I sigh and pass her the drink. "No Baby, Eliza didn't hurt me" I say louder so Sofia hears
"Where is she?"
"She is in Miami, working" Sofia passes me back an empty cup and I put it in the sink.
"Can we go see her?"
"We'll see. Not today though. I'm sorry I haven't been around the past week"
"It OK. Mom said you were busy"
"You come first from now on. Promise" I smile and brush her hair back.
"Are you and Mom going to get back together?" She looks up at me sadly and I sigh, picking her up and putting her on the counter, my hands resting next to her.
"We will always love you and each other but no. I love Eliza and she's the one I want"
"What about Mom? Why don't you want her?"
"One day you will understand Sof. We are doing everything to keep you happy and healthy, we always will. To do that, we need to be focused on you, we can't do that when we are together, adult stuff gets in the way and it takes us away from you"
"But you still love me?"
"Always" I smile, tickling her. She laughs. "You are my favourite person and you give me reason to smile, I will always love you, even when I'm not with you"
"Pinky?"
"Pinky" I smile, kissing her nose and looping our pinkies together. She giggles and throws her arms around my neck. I hug her to me and kiss her shoulder before kissing her cheek. I bury my nose into her neck.
"I love you too" She mumbles, her grip tightening around me.
"Ice cream and Harry?"
"Yes!" She pulls back and I laugh, kissing her forehead before moving over to the freezer.
"Chunky Monkey or caramel swirl?"
"Chunky monkey please" I grab the two small tubs out and shut the freezer, passing her the ice cream before grabbing two spoons and lifting her off of the counter.
There's a knock on the front door as I put Harry Potter on the TV and I smile at Sofia curled up on the couch before leaving the lounge and opening the front door
"Eliza"
