"So not how I wanted to meet your parents" I mumble, fixing my shirt. Eliza lifts her head and glances at her parents.

"So uh, I'm gay" I bite back a chuckle and avoid everyones looks.

"I can tell"

"We just walked in on you"

"Known for years" All eyes shoot to the teenager in the doorway. I'm guessing that's Jace. "What? I didn't say anything because she obviously didn't want you knowing"

"Aren't you married?" I look over at Eliza's sister and she raises an eyebrow "Didn't know that's what you were into sis"

"I'm divorced"

"Right. Because of the leg?"

"How do you know about all this?" Eliza questions her older sister.

"I have my ways. And you have a daughter right?"

"Veronica back off!"

"So did you plan to get pregnant E?"

"Mom!"

"You're pregnant?" Eliza buries her face into her hands and I sigh softly, resting my hand on her lower back.

"You should go. They're only going to get worse"

"I'm not going anywhere" I whisper.

"So how long has this been going on?"

"I'm going to be sick" Eliza runs for the bathroom and I'm left standing in the middle of her lounge with her parents and 4 siblings.

"A couple of months" I answer Veronica.

"So did you plan for the baby?"

"Veronica stop interrogating her" Frankie snaps as a crash comes from the bathroom. I jump over the couch and run into the bathroom, finding Eliza on the ground, surrounded by glass and blood.

"Ow" She mutters, holding her side as blood seeps out.

"What happened?" I ask, helping her up gently and moving her away from the glass.

"I was dizzy and knocked the stupid light shade off the sink when I fell" I lower her onto the toilet seat slowly before removing her hand from her side and lifting her shirt to look.

"Babe" I whisper, putting her hand back on the wound to keep pressure on it. She whines and I cup her cheek. "It's deep. I'm taking you in. Something is wrong"

"I'm fine. Just stitch me up"

"No. You're going in and I'm doing a full check up myself"

"Arizona"

"No"

"It's just the flu"

"Don't argue with me. You still have a temperature. You're throwing up blood and I have to make sure the baby is OK"

"Arizona if you aren't going to stitch me up, I'll do it myself and you can go home"

"What? Do you want the baby to die? Or you?" She looks at the ground "Seriously? Get your arse up right now"

"Arizona leave me alone! I don't want it"

"Maybe next time you'll keep your legs closed. I will carry you if I have too"

"Just go!"

"No. Do you want to die? Is that it? Because that's what will happen. You're losing a lot of blood right now. You and the baby will die"

"I don't care!" I sigh and lift her up. She cries out in pain as I press my hand into her side, picking her up bridal style.

"Who is driving?" Frankie grabs Eliza's car keys and I follow her out of Eliza's apartment, Eliza trying to get away from me.

-----------

"Is she OK?"

"She got what she wanted. The babies gone. But yea she's OK" I slam the tablet down on the counter and take one last look at Eliza before walking off.

"Arizona" Frankie sighs, stopping me

"No. She should wake up soon. She'll want you there when she does"

"She'll prefer you there" Frankie says softly.

"I can't. I have to go" I continue on over to the elevator and hit the button.

"Can we talk?" I look up at Jace as I leave the elevator on the ground floor.

"Jace right?" He nods "Look, I know we didn't meet properly and you feel like you have to-"

"No" He interrupts. "That's not why I'm here. I've known of you pretty much since she first met you, she didn't have to tell me. You did something to her and she changed. She was actually happy. She lost her son 3 years ago and I thought she'd never be happy again. But you make her happy"

"Why are you telling me this?"

"Because I know Eliza. She wouldn't have told you. And because she always ends up in hospital this month. For the past 3 years. This time she was just pregnant. She didn't purposely let it die. She just stops caring about anything. Henry died on his 1st birthday. Tomorrow" I look at the ground and sigh.

"I didn't know. You should go sit with her and Frankie"

"You should go sit with her"

"I can't" I walk past him, sighing. I leave the hospital and walk home, my car still in town. I'll get it later.

Eliza's POV

"Where's Arizona?" I ask Frankie as she helps me sit up in the hospital bed. I've not long just woken up. To my entire family standing around me. But Arizona is nowhere to be seen.

"I don't know. She'll be by soon"

"She doesn't know. She won't understand"

"She knows" I look up at the door when I hear Arizona. Thank god. "And you're right, I don't understand how you could do this to yourself. How you could do that to me. The baby"

"Frankie-"

"I'll be back later" Frankie leaves quickly and I shift slowly.

"You got what you wanted. It's gone."

"That's not what I wanted" I say softly.

"Could have fooled me" She scoffs. "I'll drop your stuff off back at yours and if I forget anything you can let me know-"

"You're breaking up with me?"

"You need help. I don't want you near Sofia or me"

"Arizona-"

"No. I hope you get better Eliza. I really do. But we're over"

"No Arizona. Let me explain"

"It's to late. I'm sorry" Tears run down my face as she walks off and I wipe them away furiously, hitting the morphine drip button, letting sleep pull me under.

"Hey. What happened?" Jace asks as I come too some hours later.

"She left me" I whisper, looking at the wall. "Who told her?"

"I did. She needed to know why"

"Well it didn't help. She still left me"

"I'm sorry"

"Not your fault. Can you get a nurse to get my doctor?" He nods and leaves and I sigh.
