"Everything OK?" Frankie asks as we walk into her hospital room. Eliza looks at me and smiles softly.
"Yea, engagements off though"
"What? Why?"
"It's for the best. When the timing is right, it'll happen again. But for now, we have some things to settle between us, and it's just not the time. Plus I don't want a ring thrown in my face if she leaves" Eliza pinches my hip and I smile softly, looking up at her. "Which I hope she doesn't"
"And if your son comes looking?"
"I told you she knew" Eliza sighs and turns to Veronica as she walks into Frankies room
"What is your problem and how do you know all of this?"
"You know she has a son?"
"Of course I know. She's my girlfriend. How do you know?"
"All you have to do is google her"
"Why are you doing this?" I ask, looking over at Veronica.
"She's not googling you. She knows me" My heart stops for a second at the familiar voice and I tighten my hold on Eliza's hand before turning to face the door. "Long time, no see Arizona"
"Rebecca" I breathe, trying to hold my shit together. "Where's Toby?"
"Arizona don't" Eliza whispers when Rebecca laughs at me.
"If you've hurt my son I will kill you"
"Woah what?" I look up at the door as Callie and Sofia stand there. Sofia runs into my legs and I brush her hair back softly.
"What are you doing here?"
"Dad called- You have a son?"
"Look at that, all of her girls in one room"
"I can't believe you Veronica" Eliza snaps as Sofia looks up at me. I look between Callie and Rebecca and sigh.
"Go back to Mom or Eliza baby"
"Arizona-"
"I need a- give me a minute" Eliza takes Sofia and I leave the room, heading for the stairs quickly. I pace back and forth on the landing, gasping for air.
Callie opens the door and sighs, walking out into the stairwell.
"Come here" I walk into her open arms and she hugs me tightly. "It's OK"
"No it's not. My life is falling apart" I sob into her shoulder. "Sofia hates me, you hate me, Eliza doesn't want to marry me. Veronica is trying to sabotage my relationship, bringing that woman here"
"Who is that woman?"
"She's the reason I didn't want kids when we first started dating. She's the reason I can't get pregnant"
"She's the mother of your son" Callie whispers before the door opens and Callie pulls away from me. "I don't hate you and Sofia definitely does not hate you, she adores you, she looks up to you Arizona"
"I can come back" Eliza says softly as I wipe my tears, avoiding her gaze.
"No, stay, I'll take Sofia back to dads hotel for a couple of hours and then just come get her when you're ready"
"Thanks Callie" She nods and squeezes my shoulder before leaving. I lean against the railing and sigh. "Eliza-"
"I know" She smiles sadly and closes the door. "Veronica said-"
"I don't care what she said" I interrupt her, looking up at her. "I'm sorry, I know she's your sister but I really don't want to hear it"
"She's sorry"
