Marina's POV:

"You're too sweet." I said to Alex as he handed me a bouquet of flowers. Red roses, my favorite. He knew I wasn't really a chocolate girl.

"That's not it." He handed me a small box. I sat in one of the stools by the counter. The box was blue and said- oh lord- Tiffany's.

"Alex, you didn't seriously get me something from Tiffany's did you? It's just a petty holiday." I said.

"Well, it's almost our eight month aniversary anyway. Open it!" He begged.

I untied the traditional white bow, then opened the blue box. A beautiful, sterling silver necklace lied inside. It had an infinity symbol as the charm. I covered my mouth, then set it down. "God, Alex, it's beautiful."

"Here, let me put it on you." He said, taking it out of the box and putting it around my neck. "The infinity symbolizes forever. Because I've loved you forever and I will love you forever."

"That's so sweet." I turned around and kissed him. "I got you something, too."

I handed him a box, and he tried to take off the wrapping neatly, but just couldn't. He opened it, and his eyes lit up, along with the smile below his nose. "Baby, I love it! Thank you!" He hugged me, ending the embrace with a kiss.

"You're welcome." I said. A while ago, his favorite bracelet (the one with the bullet shell on it) broke. So I bought him a new one, a nicer one. "I can't believe you made me eggs benedict, though. It's freaking amazing." I took another bite of the wonderful breakfast he made me.

"I would've made it in bed for you, if you didn't wake up." He said.

"I'm glad I woke up then. I like eating with you." I said, which was surprising. I honestly hated eating with people because eating is just so gross to watch. But I don't mind eating with him.

"More orange juice?" He asked, holding the bottle.

"Yes please. Thank you, baby."

He poured, then put on his bracelet. "I wonder what everyone else is up to right now."

"Sometimes I feel bad because things with us are so smooth, but everyone else is in these crazy relationships." I answered.

"It's not our fault that we go so well together." He sat beside me. "I mean, I'm sure we argue sometimes."

"Yeah, but it's not even worth it because we usually agree on it anyway." I laughed.

"I hope Zack and Emily at least talk today." He stated.

Emily was still in San Diego, with Colby, because that's where Luke was right now. Kianna, however, had come back to keep me from getting lonely. It was a nice jesture, but I was fine with Alex. And besides, I kept hanging out with Lisa.

I know how funny that must sound, but she had been nothing but cool with me. She was wicked fun to shop with, too. We really didn't talk about Alex together, either, but even if we did, I was sure it would still be fine. It honestly didn't bother Alex, which surprised me. I didn't go to her house, and she never came to mine, because that would just be inappropriate. And I still hadn't told Alex about Lisa's abortion, and I planned not to. It was all over now. He didn't need to know.

"I'm gonna go take a shower. You wanna come?" I asked.

"Are we just gonna shower, or are we gonna have sex?" He questioned.

"We can do both. I don't mind." I shrugged.

"Cool." He followed me in.
