Tatiana pov

Heyy! My names Tatiana but my friends call me Tee. I go to Rosewood (if you know you know) and have plenty of friends. We are know as the black girls. You know those girls that are really loud and just happen to be black, that's us.  You'll meet some of them later. Im not gonna lie, I'm amazing in school and get good grades. Im not popular in any way. Perhaps some of my friends but not me. If anyone knows me it's because I'm, I guess what people call popular by association or they just know me as that friend. I don't mind, it's gucci. But don't get it twisted just because I ain't popular doesn't mean that no one has ever heard of me.

Monday

It's the first day back from summer. I had turned 16 during the holidays and was ready to get back to school, I guess. So I got dressed and put on a white tee, grey joggers my low white Air Forces and tied my hair up. I had my breakfast and got on the school bus.

"Morning Jerry" I smiled at the bus driver.

"Morning Tee" he said winking and smiling, he pulled off and started the journey to school.

I sat in the back of the bus and put my feet on the seat next to me. My friends catch a different bus to me as they live on the other side of town so unless I see my friend called Betty then I'm all alone. Well there's Jazz and Aziza but they're either late or go the long way. I put my earphones in and listened to Big Sean and Jhene Aiko. I was bopping my head and feeling the song until I was disturbed by a deliberate cough. I looked up and saw a real tall as nigga pointing at my feet, he had coloured hair sprouting from his head top.

His lips moved then he smiled. I smiled back and didn't move. He pointed at my feet again.

"Oh shit, my bad" I said as I took one of my earbuds out and took my feet off the seat.

"It's fine ma" he laughed before turning to talk to someone else on the other side of the bus. I put my earbuds back in and continued to listen to my music.

When I got off the bus I was greeted by my friends, Aziza aka Ziza and Kailani aka Lani.

"Hey" I said hugging them.

"Hey boo" Ziza exclaimed holding me tight.

"Oh my gosh your hairs grown so much" Lani grinned fluffing up my ponytail.

Suddenly I felt Ziza grab my wrist and pull me and Lani towards a crowd.

"There's something going on and I wanna know what it is" she said as she dragged us along with her.

In the middle of the crowd was flipping Ayo & Teo!! You know those niggas that reverse and shit!

"Shiddd!" I said smiling hella hard. Ziza was about to pull us closer to the crowd but Lani stopped her.

"We have to act as if we don't care that much and so that way they come to us" she smiled, her cheeks were getting rosy.

"You can do that but imma get in there yanoe" Ziza said running off, her slides fell off causing her to run back, then she was off again. Me and Lani giggled as we walked into school it was nearly 9;00 and I know all those niggas outside were going to be late. just to be clear I did say I have loads of friends which is not a lie. In the squad there is currently 8 of us and then I have other friends obviously. However some of them come late, which is normal for them.

"Do you think that they'll be in our form" I asked Lani as we sat down in our form seats. Me and Lani have been best friends since primary and our families are close. So it was the best news ever when I found out that we would be in the same form. Unfortunately Aziza is another form.(form=homeroom I think🤷🏾‍♀️)

Once the few people that were in form settled down our form tutor started reading the notices. Then A couple of people walked in with late passes, I noticed that some of them were standing outside earlier. I laughed.

"I knew they were going to be late" I told Lani after she had finished reading the notices. She was twisting her necklace and gasped before turning around.

"Why'd you poke me nigga?" She asked a little pissed off.

"To tell y'all that Ayo is gonna be in this form" Deion smirked "thought you might wanna know"

"I told yo ass that they might be in this form Tee" Lani giggled excitedly as she turned to me she started dougie-ing in her seat.

"Was it not me that said it tho?" I laughed.

"Hey I swear you said that he was kinda peng" Lani said getting more excited

"You think that dusty nigga is peng" Deion laughed.

"You were mistaken" I said laughing "I said that he was tall and I like tall black niggas so he automatically became peng in my head"

Lani's eyes widened "guurrll..

I turned around and saw a teacher walk in with two dudes Ayo and a guy with dreads.

"Ohh he looks nice" Lani said putting her elbow on the table and staring in awe

"Thanks" he chuckled.

"Shit he heard me" She whispered "Tee he heard me"

I was still processing the fact these two beauties walked in.
