"Trevor!" Me and Maya yelled.

"Come on we going" he said pulling me and Maya through the crowd. His friends were behind us telling people to go home and checking my car out. Trevor told me to hand him my keys and I did. Then he chucked them to one of his friends. Once we got to his car we stopped and he looked me over.

"You're not hurt are you?" He asked looking over my face.

"No" I said before he grabbed my hand and pointed to my wrist.

"The nigga made you go red" he sighed.

"And you gave him a black eye" Maya laughed. "I think we're even"

"Ooh shit. What if school calls us up?" I asked.

"Why you so scared?" He said getting in his car. "Hold up. Where's Tayvion and Lani" he asked turning to me and Maya in the back of his car.

"I don't know." I shrugged.

"I just grabbed the closest friend I could see" he shrugged turning around. And starting the ignition. His car started playing TayK race and we sang and laughed till we got home.

After a while Trevor's friends, Jerome and Chris, came in.

"I parked your car outside. And we checked it out and made sure no one did anything with it." Chris said smiling sympathetically.

"Thank you" I smiled giving them both a hug. They were like big brothers to me.

"And these lil fools told us they were your friends so we brought them." Jerome said walking into the living room with Tayvion and Lani.

"Hey Tee" Lani said walking over to me.

"I'm okay" I said my eyes glistening, trying to hold back any tears. She gave me a long hug and a kiss on the cheek.

"I didn't know you were that strong." Tayvion said sitting on the couch next to Chris.

"Yeah. You stood up for yourself" Jerome said.

"She was chatting shit bout Aziza." I said "couldn't let that slide"

"Oh yeah" Maya and Tayvion exclaimed. "Why didn't Lucas say anything?"  Maya asked.

"I don't think he was there" Tayvion said. He was already playing a game with Chris.

"Why were you guys there anyway?" I asked turning to Trevor and Jerome.

"We came to pick you up so we could go out to eat." Jerome said. "You know I like to eat"

"Yeah thats why yo ass is fat" Trevor laughed.

"At least my fat ass can beat yo skinny ass" he said getting Trevor in head lock.

"Then we was gonna buy you some new shoes or sumet." Chris chipped in. "Because as your big brothers we owe you a birthday present."

"I already bought you something so their paying" Trevor said still in headlock.

"With your cheap ass" Tayvion laughed.

"Nigga what did you buy her?" Jerome asked.

"My presence is enough" he said. We laughed.

"So can we go then" I smiled wiping away any remaining tears threatening to fall.

"Yeah!" Maya smiled.

"Who invited yo ass?" Jerome asked in a ratchet voice.

"Let the girl come" Chris said shutting the Tv off.

We split off into the two cars. In my car was Lani and Tayvion, apparently Tayvion is "annoying" as Jerome said.

Maya went with my brother, who drove, and my other brothers. Obviously trying to get herself an older guy.

I followed them to the mall and parked close to each other as it was slightly full.

"So are you buying us shoes too" Lani smiled sweetly once we got inside.

"Gurl, you funny" Jerome laughed.

" Hey! My feet are small they wouldn't be expensive" Lani stormed after Jerome who was playing around with her.

"What do you wanna get?"  Chris asked.

"I don't know yet" I shrugged getting excited.

After finally deciding on two pairs of shoes, one from Chris and one from Jerome I decided to get Nike air prestos in black and white then new Nike slides since I had Adidas ones already.

"I'm buying the slides" Jerome said hoping up and grabbing them quickly.

"Of course he would pay for the cheaper ones." Chris said taking the prestos to the front desk.

I laughed with Maya and saw Lani still sulking.

"Hey I'll let you borrow them if you want" I said.

"That Jerome dude was really getting on my nerves. And you've got bigger feet than me anyway." She sighed.

They both came back with my shoes and Trevor ran to the front desk quickly.

When he came back he had a two bags and gave them to Maya and Lani.

"I overheard you talking to Jerome how little your feet were and took a guess" he said to Lani. "And I just guessed your size" he said to Maya.

They both gave him a big hug after seeing that he had bought them sliders that matched mine.

"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" Lani screamed jumping up and down. She then gave Jerome a death stare when we started walking out.

"I knew your brother liked me" Maya whispered to me as we walked to the food court.

"Girl shut up" I laughed.

"I ain't gone lie though. Chris is peng" she said licking her lips.

After eating I dropped my friends off at their houses.
