At the party

"I can't believe you just showed up" Lani said when we sat at our table to Ayo.

"My Mama was ready to beat somebody's ass too" I laughed.

"I had to be there for my baby girl" he kissed my cheek and sat besides me wrapping his arm around me.

"So are you doing the dance too?" Lani asked.

"Nah. Keys gonna do it" Ayo replied.

"Oh. I'm dancing with Tees cousin Jerome" Lani said.

"Ohh" Aziza giggled " Alonzo's gonna get jealous"

"Shut up" Lani smiled.

"Is Teo coming then" Maya asked.

"Yeah" Ayo said.

"He said he's gonna come with Tayvion" Key said.

After around 5 minutes Anthony came up to our table.

"It's time" he smiled patting Keys back.

"Hey Anthony" Aziza smiled.

"Hey Ziza. Oh hi Maya" he smiled then he nodded his head politely at Ayo.

We walked to the back room with the other bridesmaids and groomsmen to get ready.

"Tee!" I heard my friends yell. I held the corner of my dress and walked towards them.

"You were amazing" Yasmine smiled hugging me.

"And y'all are late" I laughed hugging them.

"You can't blame us" Deion shrugged.

"There's basically only black people here and so we are not the latest people here" Mateo shrugged.

I rolled my eyes "Whatever".

"This is my girl-" Tayvion started.

"Bianca!" I smiled giving her a big hug. She stumbled a little in surprise and returned the gesture.

"You're prettier in real life" She said.

"Say what now?"

"The pictures Tayvion has of you do you no justice." She laughed.

"He never takes nice pictures of me" I laughed walking them to our table.

We all sat at the table laughing and joking around.

"Has anyone spoken to Jazz in a while?" Maya asked.

"Not really" Deion said.

"I have. She's doing well but she already hates this one girl called-" Aziza was interrupted.

"We didn't ask for her life story. Damn" Key said.

"Shut up Key your irrelevant"

He side eyes her and settled into his seat.

"I was thinking of visiting her this summer. You guys wanna come?" Maya asked.

"Yeah that sounds lit" Deion said.

"Are you okay Maya?" Teo asked. "You sound like you gonna cry"
