Monday

I walked into school feeling good about myself. I approached my friends by Deion's locker. Lani was sucking Alonzo's face, Aziza was talking to Maya and Jasmine was giggling with her boyfriend Deion.

"Is Mateo here yet?" I asked.

"Why do you care about where Mateo is?" Deion asked looking aggravated.

"Mhmm" I shrugged walking off to find him.

I looked down at my watch and saw I had 10 minutes or so before class. I went to the gym before being shunned Lisa and her friends. I decided to just wander until I bumped into Afro head and Tay.

"Hey Teo" I said giving him a hug. "And Tayvion" I said turning to him to give him a hug.

"Hey Tee" they smiled.

"What's up?" I asked curiously.

"Well you are invited to" Tayvion started.

"Teo & Tay's party" Mateo said emphasising the fact it was him and Tayvion's party with his arms spread apart.

"Oh nooo" I said sassily " you ain't put me in there?!"

"Whatcha mean, 'we ain't put you in there'" Teo laughed.

"It should be 'Tee and friends party" I said nodding satisfied.

"Pshh" Tayvion laughed pushing my shoulder and walking away.

"Hey!" I said trying not to laugh.

"Yeah I don't think that's happening" Mateo shrugged.

"Ehh I'm not much of a party girl anyways" I said shrugging back.

"Why you lying for? I bet you know how to throw it back" he said pretending to control a whine.
I laughed and walked with him to class.

At lunch we walked outside to our usual spot and sat down, just talking.

Ayo grabbed my hips making me shriek in surprise. I smiled and turned to face him.

"Ohh Tee" Lani winked.

I winked back as we walked away from my group of friends. We walked to an open space, Ayo sat on the table of the picnic bench and dropped his bag besides him. I just stood there thinking "wow Ayleo Bowles is mine. I have a boyfriend!"

"Don't just stand there" he said lightly pulling my hands so that I stood between his legs "I ain't seen you all day"

"Well I was looking for you" I replied with a shrug.

"Maybe you weren't looking hard enough"

"Oh would you rather I did a full FBI sweep of the school?"

"Hey! I'm famous there's a large possibility that I could have been kidnapped." He grinned.

"Baby boy ain't nobody wanna kidnap your ugly ass or take your ugly ass Rolex."

"So I should return the one I bought for you then?"

"Nigga! Shut the fuck up. Are you chatting shit?" I asked getting a little excited.

"Okay so maybe I didn't get you a Rolex" I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms.

"Teee?" He pulled me closer to him. "Baby girl?" He mimicked me.

"Baby boy?" I replied eyes Chinese. He looked at me for a moment, like he was observing my face.

"What?" I said looking away hiding my face, he wasn't responding so I backed away about to walk off. He jumped in front of me like a monkey, his head slightly tilted to the left.

"You're so beautiful" He said.

"Ayo!" I shrieked trying to get past him to hide the growing smile on my face. But he held onto my hand and pulled me in for a kiss. His plump lips moving in sync with mine, I smiled uncontrollably. He smiled into the kiss along with me.

"I'll see you later" he said after walking away to his friends. I smiled at them since I had no idea who they were and walked to class in the opposite direction.

After school I met up with Lani outside in the car park.

"What's this I hear about you being besties with Mateo?" She asked bumping past me and walking to my car.

"If you wanna ride in my car you'll shut up" I said playfully.

"You love me really" she slumped into the passenger seat and automatically connected her phone to the aux cord. She played some Jaden Smith and relaxed into her seat.

"How's you and Alonzo?" I asked when we got to a traffic light.

"Amazing! Oh my gosh! Yesterday I went to his house after church. We played FIFA ate popcorn and just chilled. He's so sweet. And he dropped me off at home with the most amazing kiss ever. Oh his tongue performed wonders. If you know what I'm saying?" She winked.

"Kailani Brown. You dirty dirty girl!"  I acted shocked and broke into laughter. "So you're really happy huh"

"Duh, he's so sweet and understanding" she sighed dramatically.

"You sound like a puppy in love"

"I just might be Tee" she sighed again my eyes popped out of my head.

"If you don't quit playing with me Kailani"
