I woke up smiling. It was the first official day for Summer and my parents were relaxing on me.
I still hadn't seen Ayo after the hospital which was a couple weeks ago though my mind wasn't exactly on him...

I wore a cropped vest with no bra and my denim skirt. Today I was staying at home, like any other day, and my parents weren't home.

I heard a knock on the door and quickly applied some lip gloss and fixed my hair quickly.

I ran down the stairs and opened the door with a big smile on my face.

"Tatiana!" Smiled Jazz.

"Jazz!?" I said in shock. I quickly covered my chest and faked a smile.

"Bitch. You ain't wearing no bra!" She laughed. "Who you tryna impress" she slid passed me with her bag in her hands.

"Umm. Ayo was supposed to come over" I lied looking down the street then closing the door.

"Oh. I was told your parents put that on lock down" she said dropping her bag in the living room. "I've got the impression you're not really excited to see me" she said turning to face me.

"What?" I smiled and pulled her into a hug."Of course I want you here. You just caught me by surprise"

"Good. So you gonna tell your boyfriend to not turn up so we can talk?" She smiled sweetly.

"Of course" I laughed texting Mateo to not come over.

"How's school without me?" She asked. "Y'all seem to hold back the important details" she shrugged looking through our fridge.

"The watermelon is on the bottom shelf." I said knowing what she was looking for. "Did anyone tell you that Lisa had the baby?" I shrugged not knowing where to start.

She shut the fridge dramatically. "Shut the front door!"

"Don't break my Mama's fridge"

"Is he cute?" She sat down with two slices of watermelon in her hands.

"Yeah. He looks like Ayo"

"Do you think he'll fall for his baby mama?" She asked slurping on the juices.

I shrugged. I hadn't really thought about it.

"When's the last time y'all talked?" She asked suspiciously.

"I-I don't know" I squinted trying to think about.

"Then who the fuck was gonna come over" she smiled.

"Watchu mean?" I asked trying to change the subject. "I told you Ayo was coming over"

"Why you lying?" She laughed. "Pass me your phone"

"Nu-uh"

Her eyes widened. "You've been fucking another nigga!"

"Who said it's a nigga?" I said trying to pull her strings.
