"Where's Jazz?" I asked.

"I don't know she ran off when she told me" Tayvion sighed.

"Why though..."

We went most of the day texting, calling and looking for Jazz with no hope. Before last period I ran into Ayo.

"Heyy" I said nervously.

"I broke up with her" he said quickly. "Quick and quietly. I didn't want her to be upset or embarrass her. I'm not that guy."

"Are you just trying to get me to like you?" I asked.

"Haven't we already clarified that you like me?"

"Maybe. Who knows?"

"I do. So stop fronting on me girl." He laughed. "So will you be mine?"

"What?" I laughed. "You're just gonna ask me out after you broke up with Lucy?"

"Lisa" he corrected me "but that's not the point. I wanna be with you and there's no time to waste."

"You're acting as if we'll die tonight"

"And what if we do?"

"Boo we are not in a movie!"

"But we can act like we are. Just be mine Tee"

"Yeah?" I smirked "I guess we can act as if we are in a cringey movie and be boyfriend and girlfriend."

He pulled me in for a quick peck on the lips and gave me a brief hug before saying
"We're late"

Once I got to class my teacher left a note on my desk whilst I was getting settled.

"Tatiana Jackson
You have half an hours worth of detention tonight.
Don't miss it or it will be doubled. "

I sighed and sank into my seat. The lesson went by quickly and I went straight to detention. I saw my friends sitting down already and giggled a little because I knew it was my fault they were all there.

"No speaking or whatsoever. Don't look at anyone else. You either do nothing or read a reading book. No sleeping" the teacher said.

I rolled my eyes.

"All books are reading books what the fuck?" Aziza said confused.

"Would you like to stay here longer?the teacher asked.

She shook her head and put her head on the table.

"No sleeping!"

I laughed to myself and stared into space.

Jazz didn't go to the detention, which was expected but I hoped she'd show up at least. Tayvion waited for us after our detention with Deion and Alonzo.

Lani, Yasmine and Deion went with Alonzo to his car and Tayvion and Aziza came with me to go to Jazz's house to see what was going on.

Once we got there her we saw her dad in the garage with folded up cardboard boxes in his hands.

"Hey Jay" I said giving him a hug.

"Hey Tee" he replied.

"Why didn't you tell us you guys were moving?" I asked.

"We only just found out two weeks ago" he said "and it wasn't for certain"

"Why didn't Jazz tell me? Us?" I asked.

"Jasmine thought that we wouldn't. But money's tight and this new job I'm being offered pays well."

"Ohh" I sighed.

"Your pops said that you can visit in the holidays and every so often."

Tayvion pov

I ran into the house when me Tee and Aziza got there. I told Ziza to wait downstairs and I went upstairs to Jazz's bedroom. Before I entered I knocked.

"Yo, can I come in?"

"Tayvion?"

"Yeah Jazz. It's me"

She opened the door and I saw the stains of tears that were streaming down her face. I wiped them away.

"I.." I started. But I didn't have much to say. And my mind was racing with wild thoughts and I couldn't see clearly.

"You don't have to say anything Tayvion" she said, her voice cracked. You could tell she had been crying. She sniffled and look at me her big brown eyes glittering, probably because she was crying. Then she leaned in to give me a hug lying her head on my shoulder.

"I'm gonna miss you" she said. "Your basically my best friend"

"Better hope Tatiana doesn't hear that" I laughed sadly wrapping my arms around her.

"She can have Lani or Mateo" she said "Your my bestie"

"When are you leaving?" I asked after a long silence.

"Tomorrow night" she said wiping her tears away and sniffling.
"I haven't packed anything away because I thought we weren't going to actually move" she sighed looking at her room.

"I'll help" I smiled.

"Just kiss already" Aziza whined from the staircase.

"Did you see all of that?" I asked nervously.

"Just shut up Tayvion" Ziza said as she walked over to Jazz and gave her a hug. When she pulled away you could see the tears that had stained her cheeks. She then punched her and pulled her into another hug before continuing to cry.

"How could you not tell me you might be moving?" Ziza cried.

"Ziza you're gonna make me cry" Jazz said closing her eyes and holding Aziza.

"Tatianas downstairs helping your dad" Aziza said still crying.
"She was gonna start crying and wanted distract herself"

"Get yourself together Aziza, you're gonna mess up my outfit" Jazz laughed.

"Imma miss you girl" she told her.

"Imma miss you more Ziza" Jazz said. We walked down the stairs to see Tatiana pacing in the living room.

"Jazz!" She yelled running over to her and falling on the couch with her.

"I'm going to kiss you soooo much that the wolves will cry with me." Tee said crying. Jazz burst into tears too giving her another hug.

"Promise you guys will visit" Jazz said sticking her pinky out to each of us.
"Promise." We said.

Then Lani came running through the door and gave Jazz a big hug.

"JAZZ!" She yelled " I'm sorry we are late Alonzo got lost and .... you're leaving" she squeezed her tighter and then wiped Jazz's tears away.

"I love you so much Jazz" she sighed she sniffled and wiped her own tears.

"Yasmine" Jazz said as she saw Yasmine, Deion and Alonzo walk in.

"Hey baby cakes" Yasmine said giving Jazz a hug.

"She was already crying in the car so..." Deion started before Lani hit him.

"You girls are so emotional" Alonzo rolled his eyes playfully.

"Yet Tayvion was basically crying upstairs" Aziza laughed.

"You're still crying do you avant- say shit. And I wasn't crying I just stuttered cah I didn't know what to say" he said defending himself.

"Alonzo" Jazz said. "If you break Lani's heart I'll kill you. Same goes for you Deion with Yasmine." She gave them both a hug and we helped her pack up.
