Tatiana's pov

When we got to my house we said hi to my parents who were talking in the kitchen.

"Hi mama" I said giving her a kiss on the cheek.

"Hi mama Jackson and papa Jackson" Lani smiled, giving them each a hug.

"Hey daddy" I said giving him a hug "Is Tasha here?"

"She went with Anthony to his parents house, she'll be back later this week" mama said.

We walked upstairs and left our stuff in my bedroom and went back downstairs for dinner. At dinner my mom told us that they were going on a 'business trip'. Me an Lani looked at each other smirking.

"Nope. Don't look at each other like! No parties!" my dad said wiggling his finger playfully.

"Now, dad, would I ever have a party without your permission?" I asked.

"If your anything like your brother you might do" mama laughed.

"Oh, I was fourteen when he did that" I laughed along with her. "He got scared because Tayvion saw a girl's swimming suit drop and though that he'd have weird boy thoughts"

"In all honesty he did tell us to stay upstairs" Lani shrugged.

"Lani, was it not you who tried getting Trevor's friends number?" My mum grinned.

"No! That as Maya!" Lani gasped.

"Oh" papa said clicked his fingers "it was you two on the kitchen counter dancing with the drunk girls"

"In my defence, I didn't know they were drunk" Lani stayed.

"You're so dumb sometimes" I laughed.

"I'm actually quite intelligent" she replied.

10:49pm

My parents were in their room, probably sleeping. Me and Lani were awake just talking, giggling like two little school girls.

"We both have boyfriends" I sighed with realisation.

"I know it weird right?" Lani smiled.

"Have yo-" Lani shrieked when we heard a knock on the window. I opened the window so that we could both look out, by the pool there was Alonzo and Ayo.

"Oww" I squealed as Alonzo hit my forehead with a pebble.

"You think this some Romeo and Juliet sh-" Lani covered my mouth quickly.

"Tatiana? Are you guys okay?" My mum asked.

"We're fine" Lani replied.

We creeped down the stairs to the kitchen and slid the back door open quietly. Ayo and Alonzo were relaxing on two lounge chairs on the patio.

"What are you trying to do get our asses killed?" Lani asked waving her hands about like a mad man.

"Baby, we were trying to be romantic" Alonzo said wrapping his arms around her waist and giving her a peck on her forehead.

"Do I have to remind you guys that it isn't Romeo and Juliet?" I asked.

"I don't like your attitude miss Jackson." Ayo said slowly getting off his chair.

"Well..."

"Just give me a hug with your big head" he said. I walked over to him reluctantly and gave him a hug. We swayed side to side for a moment. I could smell the cologne on his hoodie and the warmth radiating off him.

No ones pov

They both smiled feeling relatively comfortable. Tee gave him a kiss on the cheek and sat with him on the lounge chairs. They sat talking and laughing with Ayo's hand on her inner thigh. He pulled her face into his and gave her a peck on the lips they smiled at each other. Tatiana tucked a braid behind her ear.

"My parents are going to kill you if they see you here" she said resuming to her previous state of nervousness. She curled up into a ball.

"They still here?!" Alonzo shouted in surprise "You said they were on a business trip" he turned to Lani.

"I said they're going to go" Kailani said.

"Shut up niggah you tryna get us caught" Ayo said hushing Alonzo up.

Tatiana shivered and rubbed my arms "we should really go in" she started "I don't want to get in trouble."

"Hey" Ayo said he sat on the edge of my chair. He took his goodie off and wrapped it around Tatiana. "You cold?"

"Yeah. Thank y-"

"Tatiana! What the heck is this?!" Tatiana turned to the voice and...

"Daddy?" He was holding Trevor's old baseball bat.

"Who are these people Tee? You talkin to boys now?" He yelled angrily.

"Sir I-" Alonzo started.

"Who are you?" Papa said pointing the bat at him and waving it around. His accent was coming out slightly.

"Mr Jackson!" Lani said jumping in front of Alonzo. You could see her holding his hand tightly.

Then he turned to Ayo.

"Ain't you the boy that messed with Tatiana, and Trevor beat yo ass"

"Mr Jackson? I jus-"

"I don't want to hear it. Shut up before I beat yo ass too" papa said " I said move". They both ran out using the gate.

"Nyama, tete lokola kirikou.... hm what were those stupid colours hanging from his head.... are they stupid? or are they stupid.... hmmm" papa kept mumbling to himself in his language (🇨🇩!) as he walked inside.

"Don't think I won't beat you guys too! Get in the house!" He yelled.
