What's The News Saying Now?: Transfer Rumours

Sorry for the long time away! I usually try not to do stuff on the weekends and even then, the same rumours kind of continued on a loop for a while. But they're fresher now, so let's get to that!

van Dijk Makes It Clear He Wants Liverpool:

Is it because he thinks he has a clearer chance to play first team just about all the time? Because he definitely will! Some remind that to him, because he will. The thing is, he will break the record David Luiz holds for most expensive defender by £10m, so he'll be going for £60m. I kid of want to blame this on City because they'd throw money at the sky if it rained too much for their tastes. Anyways, it's nice, but not sure we should base our summer on it. 

Lacazette To Liverpool:

This is based off of the fact that Atletico's transfer ban has been upheld and they won't be able to get anyone this summer. Bummer, because they do need attacking help. This does free up the lines for Liverpool to get Lacazette, but seriously, why? Does he want to be behind Firmino unless it's CL or something like that? Unless I'm utterly mistaken on how we lineup, I'm not sure this is going to go right should he actually come. 

Salah Close To Signing:

Then again, there are reports that this isn't even happening and Roma doesn't want to give him up. But, he does make a good back up should we need one when Mané or Coutinho get out through injury, suspension or something. He will be gone during AFCON, so there's that too. He's speedy like Mané and it seems he has developed what Chelsea stints showed he probably didn't have at the time. Only problem may be the price because they seem to be around £35m, which is much for a squad player.

Emre Can Contract Talks Getting Closer:

Juventus are inching forward, trying to get this youthful midfielder that has the potential to be one of the best. I presume this is the time we try to save up for the £89m we'll spend on getting him back then. But never fear, Klopp and his hugs are here! Talks are apparently still going and the club believes they'll get him to sign on to what Liverpool hopes to be down in the future. Hope he signs it!

Battle On The Merseyside For Anderlecht Striker:

Well, it seems that Everton and us are in for a striker that plays for Anderlecht. He's 26 and Polish, so I'm a little excited for this and skeptical because he's 26 but it also shows that he's probably going to be backup at best should he come. Wonder what this means for Ings, Origi and Sturridge. Especially Sturridge. Seems decent enough for the cups and occasional games for a backup strikers.

Anyways, it seems like Griezmann's not going anywhere. Because Atletico's ban has been upheld, Griezmann is practicing some loyalty, not wanting them to go out high and dry without having someone to replace him. Which seems to be what Lacazette was for: replacing Griezmann. It's still in doubt whether this is certain because the transfer window isn't really open, but I'd like to believe this so he doesn't go to United. Because they don't deserve to have a good thing and then possibly ruin it like they did Pogba.
