Well . . . I'm starting to think my username only causes pain. Should change it. But it's nice, which only burns all the more.
How many hours till PL starts? As I write this, only five more hours till the Arsenal match, a little less than 24 hours until our own against Watford.
THEN WHY IN THE NAME OF GOD IS BARCELONA COMING FOR COUTINHO SO CLOSE TO THE END OF THE TRANSFER WINDOW?? AND WHY IS COUTINHO PUTTING IN A TRANSFER REQUEST??
I get that Coutinho is a great guy and that all reports show that he would only leave if things can be done nicely and smoothly, but how on God's green Earth does he think we can find another Coutinho-level person in the space of two weeks. Ugh, saying I hate Barcelona right now is an understatement.
The fact that they think they can just come for whoever is annoying, especially when BVB went a whole day wondering where the hell Dembele is, ANOTHER person linked to Barcelona. Just let us get Virgil van Dijk, Goretzka and close the thing. I'll allow myself to know that he'll leave next summer or whatever, World Cup is too close for him to start messing around. He could actually lose his place to Oscar or someone of the like.
Funny thing is, Coutinho has a back injury, keeping him out of the Watford match (or is he? He could be faking it like some are said to do). Sturridge is also out, after the muscle injury he picked up against Bayern. Was that goal worth it? Not really, but it was a fantastic goal.
We're also apparently going after Arturo Vidal, which is so hilarious and out there, I can't begin to fathom where someone would get that idea. He's 30 to Coutinho's 25 and, to me, will not help us out in the way Coutinho does. Just let us keep the guy!

Other than that, no bid has been formally submitted to Southampton for Van Dijk, Hakim Ziyech's on transfer saga is going cold and Keita rumours are suddenly coming up after it's been said that he and his agent have gone to RB Leipzig's board.
But still, Coutinho, WHY TODAY???
