Pregnant By A Dragon

Chapter 6

I didn't feel unwanted at the dinner but the atmosphere did seem awkward. Me being a human and pregnant wasn't normal so its understandable. The food was normal. I expected weird plant looking things and some creatures head but it was just normal potatoes and beef plus some vegetables. I was assured this by Gloria.

Everyone ate quietly at first but then things started to move along. Bruce is apparently Josh's cousin. I met Bruce's fiancee Bel. She has literally natural  pure red hair and orange eyes. I found out from Josh that your hair color matches the color of your dragon scales. I also found out who the little boy was. He is Josh's younger brother, Jett, except he was 13 but I guessed 12 so I still was close.

"So what does it feel like to be pregnant?" Bel asked.

"Ummm...warm I guess?" I said since I really don't feel anything except the constant warmth.

"What do you mean by warm?" Josh asked.

"Like my stomach always feels warm. Almost like a mini heater is in there" I say looking at him.

He looks at Gloria with a concerned look and asks "Gramma is normal or...is...there like a problem?".

Gloria shrugs her shoulders and says "I honestly don't know Josh. I've never heard of something like that happening and there really isn't much said about how human-dragon pregnancies go. You should take her to Dr. Erica soon and make sure everything is ok. Cause even the blessing has it's limits".

After dinner everyone headed to bed. 
I didn't go to the same room as before because it was Jett's. Josh showed me what I thought was my room. That was until I looked around and noticed pictures of Josh and Jett, or them together with an older looking couple.
I figured this is his room but I didn't know why I was here. I did have an idea but it didn't sit well with me.

Josh then took of his shirt and I couldn't help but stare. He didn't have ripped abs or muscles but he did have them, and thats just how I like it. I don't like it when guys have ripped abs or big muscles. It made them look fake or as if they're trying too hard.

Josh noticed me stairing and smirking said "Like what you see. It does belong to you".

"Honestly. Who wouldn't like what I'm seeing? But that doesn't mean anything" I tell him honestly "but why am I in your room and where am I supposed to sleep?"

"On the bed" he replied in a duh tone.

"You mean together with you?"

"Yes"

"Not happening"

"Why not? We're married and it's not like we haven't done more"

"For one we were drunk and just because I'm carrying your child doesn't mean you automatically get to sleep in the same bed with me. Plus I don't consider us married. I don't care what your dragon rules or whatever they are say. Cause guess what I'm human and like things to be done in the human way"

Sure he is hot in my eyes, yes I still have a crush, yes I'm pregnant with his child but I'm not gonna let him think I'm easy or something. Even if it's just sleeping in the same bed.

He looks away from me with raised eyebrows and then says "Wow...well you really made your point"

I glare at him and say "Yes now I'm going to downstairs to sleep on the couch"

As I'm about to turn around he says "Wait hold...sleep on the bed. I'll sleep on the floor. Cause whether you care or not, you are my wife and theres no way I'm letting my wife sleep on a couch especially when she's pregnant"

I agree with him especially since I'd rather not sleep on a couch.

He lays out some blankets and pillow and lays down. As soon as I see he's not facing my way take my clothes off and take change into only a loose shirt and shorts. I wouldn't normally sleep like this but with him in the room I take no chances. Though I did take off my underwear.
