Epilogue

"Mommy Rose brought another creature" I heard Cole yell.

I was in the kitchen making sandwiches. I put down the knife and prepared myself for what ever creature Rose brought this time.

It's been 5 years since the Corey incident. A couple days after that day, Corey's dad was found harbouring slaves. They were random unlucky tourists from different species. Many people were killed and almost all of Corey's fathers wealth was gained illegally.

The law in Dragon city is different to that of what I was used to in America, on earth.

The man was sentenced to 5 years of torture in a dimension that is ment to endlessly torture you and keep you alive. Depending on your crime you get either set free or executed. He will be executed.

It's also been 1 year since we checked what the twins powers and abilities are. They had lots but some of the main ones were, Cole being a wind user and Rose an earth user. Cole had the quick spell ability which made him be able to summon spells very fast without having to draw a spell circle, but to do that he needed to know the spell well.

One of Roses most interesting abilities was called Translation. It gave her the ability to understand every kind of creature and communicate with them. Though this was only if the form of conversation involved using sound. This led to her being very friendly with many different kinds of critters.

I walked into the living room and looked towards the front door. My eyes almost left there sockets.

"Rose put the blue spider rat outside NOW!" I said to her.

"But mommy Joneet is hungry. He told me that all the other rats steal his food" Rose said.

"Is Joneet his name?" I said and she nodded "ok I'll give him some food but you need to put him outside and wash your hands"

She did as told and I walked outside and gave the rat called Joneet it's prize. I walked inside and felt a breeze at my feet, I had my guess as to why. I walked into the play room to see Cole holding a mini tornado in his palm. Cole saw me and quickly put it out. I gave him the look.

"Cole what did I say about playing with tornadoes in the house?"

"Not to do them" He said with his head down.

"So why are you not listening?"

"Because there really fun but daddy said only do it in the training hall. But daddy to busy to take me"

"Well of course he's busy, he's the Chief. But remember daddy promised to take you and Rose today. He'll be here soon so I'll talk to him and see if we can go sooner. Ok?"

"Ok"

I walked into the kitchen to see a sandwich missing. I was about to call out to Rose but a piece of lettuce fell on the counter. I looked up to see Rose with big eyes looking down at me. Our kitchen ceiling had an indent so Rose used her strength ability which I will say came from me to hold herself up. She quickly finished the sandwich and smiled at me like she did nothing. One thing she definitely got from me is putting food above other things.

"Did you fly up there?" I asked though I knew the answer. She nodded and flew into my arms.

"You know I don't like you flying. It makes me so scared that you'll up and fly away from me" I said rubbing my nose on hers.

"I'll never fly away from you mommy. Even if a handsome prince comes" She said.

Oh how that will change when she's older. The front door closed and Josh's voice could be heard.

"I'm home!"

"Daddy!" Rose yelled in my arms and I could hear Cole say the same. She opened her amazing wings that had the same pattern as her egg did and flew towards Josh. I quickly followed her to see her tackling Josh in the chest and Cole tackling him in the legs. A massive tickle fest started and I just stared happily at it.

This is my family. My happy dragon family.

Who would have thought getting drunk at a party could lead to this!?
