Pregnant By A Dragon

Chapter 5

Just warning that this is very wordy and just kind of a filler

"Ok so if you haven't figured out already we're dragons" Josh said.

"Uh huh that makes perfect sense now I'm pretty sure I'm hallucinating so that means this pregnancy isn't real and I'll probably just wake up in my room any moment now" I replied.

"Yeah you're definitely not hallucinating"

"Huh really? Then fucking prove it cause I don't have time for this" I said anger and annoyance in my voice.

"Well you asked for it" Josh said with a smirk, and before I could say anything Josh ran up to me in a blink of an eye giving me a very passionate kiss.

As soon as his lips touched mine a mix of emotions hit me. A few I didn't recognize but felt good and couple that didn't but I focused on a emotion that felt right...anger. So I pushed him away and punched his chest as hard as I could. I heard a grunt and see Josh suddenly flying towards the wall. He hits it with a thud and falls to the ground. I notice a small dent in the wood where he hit. I look at my fist wondering how the fuck I did that.

Josh gets up, rubs his chest while gramps stairs at me and says "Well we can definitely tell that she has the blessing" he sighs and adds "this is so troublesome" he looks at Josh and says "You, son, have messed up big time and since you can't fix it then you are most definitely are going to be responsible for EVERYTHING since she's your wife" he finished and walked away.

I looked at Josh with my new signature look that displayed my confusion that seemed to be increasing with ever time they opened their mouths.

Josh noticed my increasing confusion and said apologetically "Ok, I'm sorry that might have not been the best way to prove things but it's kinda my privilege since we're marri---"

"We are not married because I don't remember you ever proposing and I definitely don't remember getting married" I told him quite annoyed by how he keeps saying that.

"Ok I can see you getting annoyed so I'll stop beating around the bush and tell you everything just don't interrupt so that I can properly explain things so they make sense" Josh tells me to try and calm me down. I just give him a nod telling him to continue.

"I won't give you all the details since you'll learn them later and it would take a few days to explain. So here's the short version. I'm a dragon. We are a race thats existed before humans have but I don't come from pure dragons, they almost don't exist, my ancestors consisted of a dragon and human relationship. It's what gives me both my human and dragon form, and depending on what form your born in determines what abilities you have stronger than others" I just continued to stare at Josh while trying to process the information "Now this place your in is called the den or nest. It's a small dimension our ancestors created using magic. It's not big but it is about the size of texas. Normally there about the size of solar systems. Its got a few entrances that we use such as the cabin but sometimes our enemies like the vampires or werewolves will use magic to open up occasional tears in the protective barrier that surrounds the den" Josh takes a deep breath before continuing "Now what you really wanted to know. The day we got married is when your pregnancy reached 1 month. Us having sex was our engagement and that tattoo is the ring. The mark is the exact same as mine and it comes with benefits. One of benefits thats not necessarily important but it's that you can't get pregnant from anyone but me...doesn't really apply at the moment though" I glare at him and he continues "The other is what gramps was talking about. It's called The Blessing of Ariya[A-ri-ya]. Ariya was one of the first humans to have dragon children. One of her daughters nearly lost a child durring pregnancy so when Ariya was on her deathbed she used all the magic she had to bless all who carry dragon children. It gives you different effects depending on your race but the bottom line is that it's ment to protect you and the child from almost anything until the child is a 2 year old".

"Is that why you said an abortion wouldn't work" I asked.

"Yep. The blessing protects you from it but most importantly I wouldn't let you do that to my child" Josh said with a very serious yet calm voice "Theres a lot of other stuff that I should explain but you'll learn those all in time"

I was so...honestly words couldn't explain how I felt. I was confused yet shocked and a mix of other emotions to complex to explain. I didn't know what to say or do so I just asked "so...what now?".

"Now you need to eat, then sleep some more, because you're eating for 2 since your pregnant, and with a dragon to boot. So better be prepared for crazy cravings and lots of food" Gloria said giggling as she walked down the porch steps "come on darling lets get you fed and into some cloths that can actually survive tomorrows events".

"What events?" I asked both curious and suspicious.

"Your husband will tell you tomorrow and it's nothing to worry about. You just keep yourself rested and relax after todays events" she told me.
