*Flashback*

"Morning Erica" I said.

"Good morning Liz. No Josh?" She said.

"No not today. He had something to do so I forced him to drop me off and go do it" I said.

"Haha I believe you're the only person who can make Josh do something without him arguing much" She said as I sat down on the hospital bed.

"It's not my fault he keeps giving me ammunition to use against him" I said shrugging.

"Well husbands can be that way. Now in all seriousness I have something important to discus with you. It would've been better if Josh was here but I honestly prefer just you" She said.

"Ok well go on" I said slightly worried.

"So after examining the data with a few other doctors we have found some possibly complications and solutions. Before I explain them I'll explain everything for you from the beginning that way you'll understand it better"

I got comfortable on the bed and prepared to here the dangers that face my children.

"Your type of pregnancy is very rare and unique but rare in the sense that it's between a dragon and human. The last pregnancy between a dragon and normal human happened centuries ago. Humans are considered volatile creatures to all magical beings and shouldn't be introduced to this world. I don't know the real reason why but it might be because humans have very strong magical powers but they have been locked or not at full potential. Kinda like how humans only use 10% of their brain. Anyways, for your case it's unique, at least since it's never been recorded till now, since you got Josh's blood into you during your intercourse it caused a randomized change to happen to you and that was developing a dragons womb while still keeping your original" She said as I kept focus and shifted a bit "Thanks to magic your body adapted perfectly fine to this addition. I remember that you were drunk for this process so we, me and my colleagues, assumed this change occurred before the intercourse. Now for the problem. Josh's sperm impregnated both the human and dragon egg you created resulting in twins. Now your son we are sure will be the first to arrive and go down your birth canal followed by your daughter. Your son will be born without complications thanks to the blessing but your daughter..."

"What about my daughter!?" I almost yelled.

"Calm down and let me explain. Your daughter is inside a dragon egg. This is normal for dragons except that you're in human form. Humans don't lay eggs but magic had it's own plan. Your daughters egg isn't like a normal dragon egg. Normal dragon eggs are shaped like chicken eggs but have a variety of colors. After looking at the information from the examinations you had here every two weeks. We discovered that her egg is shaped as if you stretched the bottom to mirror the top. Here let me draw you a picture"

She drew what a normal egg looked like then what my daughters egg looked like. It was true.

It looked like you got a chicken egg and stretched the bottom. Having an actual image helped me understand why my daughters side of my stomach felt weird.

"So how does this affect my daughter?" I asked.

"We don't truly know. We do know that your daughter is healthy but she is smaller than normal and not in the normal position but I don't exactly know because the eggs shell is strong due to the blessing. We believe she'll be fine because dragon eggs take a month to hatch after the womb. We believe she will literally out grow her egg and hatch... so now thats out the way here's the real problem, and thats you and how your labour will go"

"What do you mean. Won't it happen the normal painful way?" I asked slightly confused.

"Thats what I hope but as I said your son will but your daughter might not, but there are two solutions you could say. If in the case her egg doesn't move or gets stuck then we could do a type of C-section. The problem with that is you might not survive or we might not even be able to do anything do to the blessing. If your daughter doesn't come out within an amount of time it will prioritise the child and possibly kill you. I've unfortunately seen it happen. The second solution would work for sure but would require a few things and have some strange affects on you"

"What is it and would you need?" I said quickly.

"The materials that we would need are Josh's blood and Gloria's magic. Specifically her transformation spell. Liz the second solution would be to turn you into a dragon" Dr. Erica said.

"Turn me into a dragon but what's hard about that. I will do it right now if I have to. My humanity is not important as them" I said pointing at my stomach.

"Liz I can easily understand giving up your humanity but it's more than that. If all goes well you'll be like Josh but if not your everyday life could change drastically. Having kids changes lots of things but having your body be completely different changes everything. Thats the easy part though. The hard part is the transformation itself. Giving birth feels like you're being ripped apart, I have 2 children and know what it's like. Transforming would literally be ripping you apart. Even with medicine and magic the pain would be huge... Liz these options are only if something goes wrong. Though I'll be honest in saying that the chances are high. I want you to think about this with Josh and tell me next week whem your rooms ready. I'm sorry if I dropped this a little late but it took a while to figure out" Dr. Erica said sadly.

"It's ok. It is a lot to process but I just thought of this but what about teleportation? Could we teleport the egg? My friend can use short range teleportation spells" I said curious.

"One of my colleagues said something similar but unfortunately it won't work. We read through ancient medical records and found one that used that method but it failed. The magical protection around the children is strong and using a powerful teleportation spell is very difficult especially with such a small object and a specific location" She said "Now I'll let you process this all but for now let's check how the twins are doing"
