*2 weeks later*

Two weeks have passed and a lot has happened.

When we returned home after the date, Gloria had dinner ready and Gramps, who I found out was named Eric even though I've lived here for a month. Apparently no one uses his real name, it's either Dear, Gramps, or Chief. Gramps wanted to talk to us about something important. The fact that he wanted to talk to us was a big deal.

It's not that Gramps is cold to me our anything. It was more that he was...suspicious or watchful of me, and I can perfectly understand him considering the past. He wouldn't talk to me or Josh much but was still kind.

*Flashback*

We were eating at the table. Everyone was here except, Bruce, Bela, and Jett.
Bruce and Bela have their own home while Jett was sleeping over at a friends.

Gramps swallowed the beef he was chewing on and then said "I need to talk to you guys about the future of this den. Specifically pertaining to you " he pointed to me "Josh you already have some training about what being a Chief is but she needs training as a Chieftess. Thats why, Liz, the day after tomorrow you'll continue your spell training but also start learning what it means to lead a den. Gloria will teach you. Josh you'll be doing more training in your lightning abilities and also Chief responsibilities. Tomorrow though" he chuckled "Tomorrow is cram day. From what I heard you can barely read dragon. I can understand speaking but you need to be able to read dragon. So, Josh, tomorrow I'll help you teach her dragon. No ability training just studying. So am I understood" he said looking at me and Josh, more at me.

"Yeah, guess I have no choice" I said.

Josh looked at me like I was sick. I guess he was expecting me to argue since he thinks I'm still against this whole marriage and Chieftess thing. He doesn't know that I've already come to terms with everything. For one, arguing is pointless. It would be a waist of energy. Also, when do you get the chance to own and control a dimension filled with dragons.

*End Flashback*

The studying that we or more like I did that next day was the most I've done...ever.

Gramps wasn't a the mean kind of teacher but was definitely teacher material. He knows so much stuff I'm surprised his head doesn't explode.

We studied about how to use your abilities properly and of course how to read dragon. That day I learned about 80-90% of dragon writing.

Training the next day was fun. Gloria is super nice and she's the gramma I always wanted as a kid. She taught me more about spells and about the responsibilities of a Chieftess.

Learning how to use spells was easy. Especially when you can understand the symbols in the spell circles. The hard part was remembering where to put the symbols.

I learned all the basic fire spells and some advanced ones. I learned how to make flaming rocks fall from the sky. Though mine were more like pebbles. Gloria said the power of your spell depends on how much power you put in it. She also said that she can tell I have a big magic reserve but it will take time and practice for me to be able to use it fully.

That week consisted of different kinds of training and studying. Josh took me on a couple more dates where we would sight see and get to know each other more. One of the dates he took me on was ice skating on a lake in the winter part of the forest. We had a lot of fun. Josh actually messed up at one point and fell face first into a pile of snow. I finally told Josh that I accept him as my boyfriend and told him about being excited for the kids and fine with being a Chieftess, but I also told him that he still has to eventually propose to me and that we might have to do a wedding. I'm not big on weddings but might be nice.
