Pregnant By A Dragon

Chapter 8

We walked for a few blocks before reaching a big rectangular building that was only 10 floors tall but was really long.

It had DSH written in big red letters on it and underneath said "Dragon and other Species Hospital".

We walked in and walked up to the front desk. A young girl was writing something on a chart.

She looked up when she saw us and asked "How may I help you?"

"We're here to see Dr. Erica for our 1:30 appointment" Josh said.

"Sure thing. Just go to the fourth floor and they'll tell you exactly where to go" She said with a smile.

We went up an elevator type thing. It was pretty much a floating glass pane. After talking to the desk on that floor we were directed to a room. Surprisingly this room looked more real than fantasy. There were actual lights and other medical equipment.

I sat down on the soft bench next to Josh. We waited for a minute and heard a knock on the door followed by it opening to reveal a middle-aged woman around her 50s walking in.

"Hi I'm Dr. Erica" Dr. Erica said extending her hand.

Me and Josh shook her hand and introduced ourselves.

"So I'm going to be asking you some questions and some might sound very weird or have obvious answers but we do have a process we must follow. So just answer as best you can" She said.

"Ok, I understand" I said politely.

"You're human correct?"

"Yes"

"How far along are you?"

"Should be 2 months"

"Have any unusual or weird feelings or things occurred"

"Um...yeah, like my stomach always feels like a heater is inside. My stomach feels kinda heavier on one side. Plus from what I learned in health. I shouldn't be this big at only two months"

"Ok. Then have you participated in a sexual intercourse after conceiving"

"No!"

"Ok so for now thats it for these questions. Now lets give you an ultrasound and maybe I might have a few more or could answer yours. So please lays on that table and pull your shirt up and pants down just enough to expose the full stomach" She said.

I did as was told while she readied a machine which I guess is the ultrasound machine.

"Ok so I'll put some gel on your stomach and it might be cold" Dr. Erica said.

When she put it on I felt a slight chill but the heat my stomach generated quickly covered it.

"Wow your stomach is quite warm. I can also see how it's bigger to your right side. Now I think I know why you're so big at only two months...See in human form. Dragon pregnancies only last 6-7 months. The stomach usually grows rapidly from 2-3 months and then slows it's rate of growth. Though your big for only reaching to months. Now lets see why" She said and then started moving the instrument on my stomach.

Suddenly there came a sound. It was like a horse was running. Actually more like horses. I looked at Dr. Erica and she seemed to understand what my question was already.

"Thats your babies heartbeats" She said with a smile.

"Heartbeats? As in more then one?" Josh asked surprise and happiness all over his face.

"Yes. There seems to be twins" She said and started moving the instrument some more. I didn't notice her worried expression because I was deep in thought.
