CHAPTER FORTY-SEVEN

"What the hell is this, Lewis?" I furrowed my eyebrows, in complete confusion.

“I don’t know, I can’t see it.” He answered with amusement in his voice.

“This,” I turned around, holding up a tie with the pi sign and a load of numbers. I knew I’d find some weird crap in Lewis’ room.

“My friend gave me that when he found out a got the job teaching Maths at Langston’s.” He smiled and walked over to me.

“Why?” I shook my head as he took the tie from me.

“He thought it was funny obviously.” He said sarcastically and looked at the tie.

“But it’s not funny though.” I don’t understand how you think that’s funny. It’s really not that funny.

“Don’t worry, I haven’t worn it. Maybe I should wear it to work one day.” He smirked and wrapped the tie around his neck.

“You can, but I’ll deny that you’re my boyfriend.” I smiled sweetly, before taking the tie off of his neck.

“That’s alright, I won’t wear it then.”

I rolled my eyes and threw the tie on the bed. “Have you got any other weird stuff?” I turned back around to his storage box.

“To be honest, I probably do. I got some weird crap for my twenty-first birthday. I even got a guitar, I never touched a guitar before my twenty-first.” He laughed, seeming to be reminiscing his birthday.

“Can you play it at all now?” I’d love to learn how to play guitar. I never really got a chance because I was on the football (soccer) and field hockey team.

“A bit, but not much. I know a few chords and a few songs.”

“You need to teach me how to play some then.” I know getting Lewis to teach me something isn’t that best idea.

“I think I’ll pass on that. I don’t really want to go back to how it was in school with Maths.” He agreed with me that it wasn’t a good idea.

“Yeah, whatever,” I dismissed with a slight shrug. “I can’t believe I missed your twenty-first birthday. You get to be there for mine.” I would’ve loved to go to Lewis’ twenty-first. I think the major birthdays are more fun than others.

“I missed your eighteenth. But you get to be there when I turn thirty.”

I looked over and smiled at him. “Do you think we’ll still be together then?” I hope we will and things seem to be going that way since we’re moving in together.

“Yeah of course I do. We’re moving in together Rox. If I couldn’t see a future with you, then I wouldn’t have asked you to move in with me.” He looked over and gave me an honest smile. “And it’s only six years away.”

“Damn you’re old.” I teased with a smirk.

“It’s only another six years until you’re my age. Less than that since you’re nineteen in December.” He lifted up his TV and put it in the box. We’ve now got three TV’s and no idea where to put them.
