What's up guys? :D not really got much to say so it'll be a short note :)

I got the new Kings of Leon album yesterday :) and it is so freaking awesome!!

Also hopefully I'll be driving next week which is awesome! Two weeks after passing my test :) it feels weird not going out every week with my driving instructor :/ but I can't wait until I can drive again :D it'll be really handy since I'm starting Uni in a week.

CHAPTER THIRTY-SIX

"Are you busy?" I knocked the door to my dad's office.

"I'm never busy for you guys." My dad turned to me and laughed. I smiled and walked over to his extra chair. "What's up?" He turned back to his laptop.

"Are you mad at me?" I probably sounded like a little kid when I asked him that.

"What?" He looked back at me with furrowed eyebrows. "Why would I be mad at you?" He sounded really confused as to why I would ask.

"I just thought that you'd be mad at me for getting back with Mark." I know he's not happy we're back together. But we haven't really talked since Saturday. And that was four days ago. "You just didn't seem happy on Friday when I was going out with him." I sighed and played with my nails.

"I'm not mad at you." He smiled and sat back in his chair. "I'm just not happy about what he did. It'll take me a while to trust that he won't hurt you again."

"But I know he won't. I trust him so I don't see why you can't." I always thought my dad trusted my decisions. Now I'm starting to doubt that. "I feel like you think I forgave him too easily."

He sighed and rolled his chair over to me. "I don't think that. I know you'd never forgive him until you want to. But as your dad I have to make sure it's tougher for him to convince me. Then I know he's really serious about you." He smiled and tucked my hair behind my ear.

"He is serious about me dad. You shouldn't be too tough on him." I laughed and nudged my knee against his.

"I have to be tough on him because I'm your dad." He laughed and flicked my forehead. "I do like him though Roxy. But you have to understand that he hurt one of my kids. You'll see where I'm coming from if it happens to one of yours. But I am happy that you're back together because it makes you happy. That's all I ever want for my kids. That's what my life is about. To make sure you, Max and Emily are safe, healthy and happy." He smiled before rolling back over to his computer.

"I'm sure there's more to your life than that." I laughed slightly, standing up from my chair.

"All I care about is you kids and your mum. You guys mean the world to me." He could be so cheesy when he wanted to be. But what he said was cute and sweet.

"Well since you're important to me and I you, can you give me a lift to Langston's?" I sat on his desk and smiled sweetly at him.

"Why can't you drive yourself?" He laughed and glanced up at me.

"I'm meeting up with Mark so he's driving us into town. He'll drop me home later." I added on, hoping he'd give me a lift.

"Fine I'll give you a lift. Are you going now?" He closed his laptop and stood up.

"Yeah I'm meeting him when school finishes." I stood up from his desk and walked towards the door. It's weird not seeing Lewis during the day. He started work on Monday and we haven't been able to see each other until after he finishes. It's really strange not being able to see him at school anymore. Or to hang out all day like me did over summer.
