A gasp escaped my lips as the five year old ran past me, giggling. I turned around, laughing as I chased after him, dodging around the muddy ground. But he didn't have a care in the world, he loved the mud. I shook my head as I smiled, catching up to him.

I scooped him up in my arms, "Got ya!"

Theo laughed loudly, "I'll be faster than you soon."

I nodded proudly, "The fastest on the planet."

I placed him back down and he took my hand in his. His eyes connected with mine, "Like daddy?"

My smile grew, "Yeah."

His own smile took up half his face, which reminded me of Klaus. Every day he grew to look more like him but the eyes, they were similar to mine. As we reached the house, Theo let go of my hand and began to run up the stairs and onto the back porch.

"Theo!" I called after him, causing him to stop and face me, "Shoes off before you go inside."

I headed up the steps as he sat on the floor, beginning to take them off. He looked up at me, "Is this because Hope hates the mud?"

I crouched down, helping him take off his shoes. I shook my head with a smile, "It's because you're all dirty and Hayley won't be pleased with you trailing mud through the rooms."

Theo stood up once his shoes were off, "Mommy, can we make pancakes?"

"I would love to, sweetie." I stroked down the side of his face, "But Mary will be here soon. She's coming to look after you and your sister."

"Where are you going?" He asked, curious.

"Remember how I told you about our family?" I questioned. He nodded in response, "Well, Hayley and I, we're going to bring them back." A smile stretched on his lips, causing me to smile back.

Hope was sitting at the dining table with paints infront of her as she trailed the paintbrush across the paper. Theo, on the other hand, was laying on his stomach on the carpet, crashing toy trucks into each other.

The two were quite opposite. Hope was quite shy and she loved to paint, just like Klaus and I. Whereas, Theo was more energetic and prefered to play in the mud and being cheeky, which was also like Klaus.

I could hear a car pulling up outside and Hayley came through the room and headed out of the front door. Hope put her paintbrush down, "Is that Mary?"

"I think so." I replied. I looked over to Hope's painting. The background was blue and in the centre she had painted what looked like half a circle, "That's lovely."

"Thank you." She said, with a small smile, "It's not finished yet."

"Well, maybe Theo can help you finish it later?" I replied.

Theo sat up, "But I don't want to paint."

I crouched down to his level, "Okay, well, how about doing something else with your sister? Reading?"
