I was standing beside Hayley as Rebekah and Elijah fed on what was left of the prisoners of the bus they had stopped. Kol had chased after one that had escaped into the woods nearby. You could hear the screaming of the prisoners pain as Kol fed on him.
"Good lord, that one has some lungs on him. He should've been an opera singer." Rebekah joked, "Might've ended better for him, actually."
"Is this absolutely necessary?" Freya questioned, standing beside us.
"That depends. Do you want us at our full strength, or do you plan on rescuing Nik on your own?" Rebekah asked.
"Well, death rattles are distracting, and I'm trying to break a cloaking spell." Freya replied.
"Kol, would you please?" Elijah shouted. In a split second the screaming of the man stopped, "Thank you. You were saying?"
"I can sense. Klaus is still in New Orleans." Freya told him.
"Yes, and I've known that for five years, Freya." I said, "But I haven't stepped foot in New Orleans since we left because Hayley and I have contacts there. They've that said the place is crawling with vampires, all of whom hate all of us. Not to mention Marcel and his killer bite."
"I don't want to stay in that city any longer than we have to." Freya said, "But we need to go."
"Whoa. Wait -- " Kol said, walking towards us out of the woods. His chin and shirt were stained with blood. He frowned, "Wait, we're not doing this today?"
"Hasn't Nik suffered enough?" Rebekah questioned.
"Yes. And I've died. Twice." Kol replied, "I'm not about to give Marcel a shot at a third. Now, I say, we draw that Muppet out of town. And when he's gone -- "
I interupted him, " -- Kol, now that you're all awake and cured, we don't have time for this. We get in and get Klaus out today." I looked between everyone, "Besides, there is one important contact I have that is still in New Orleans, that has insides and doesn't hate me. So, there's a start."
Elijah stood up, "There we have it. We free Niklaus today."
He began to walk back towards the truck, Freya, Rebekah and Hayley walking after him. Kol was about to follow but I stopped him, "Kol, I really need to talk to you. But I'm not sure when a good time is."
"Well, if Marcel doesn't kill us the second we get into New Orleans, I'm sure we can find time." Kol replied. He moved closer, a small smile appearing on his lips, "I missed you."
I took in a deep breath and nodded once, "You too." I looked towards the others who were still walking, "We should go, we can't waste anymore time."
"Yeah." He simply replied. I turned and walked after them, feeling Kol following behind.

We had made it to New Orleans and split up. Freya, Hayley and Kol were going to the St. Louis' Catherdral. She was going to try and break the cloaking spell to find Klaus. Rebekah, Elijah and I were heading towards the apartment where Marcel used to live, but was now Josh's.
I had kept contact with him throughout the years so I knew what was happening in New Orleans and who was still there.
"Hey. Hey... I got to go." Josh said from inside as we walked towards the back door.
