Ash X Serena 2: A New Adventure

Chapter 8

Before this chapter starts, I want to apologize if the book looks weird. I made the mistake of downloading the wattpad app onto my windows 10 pc. I tried to pull up a new chapter, but it kept pulling up chapter 7. I am not completely sure how it looks from a readers perspective, but if you notice anything odd, let me know so I can fix it.

Two Days later...

It's been a couple of days since Ash has had his battle with Gary. Since then, we've been busy packing and deciding what we needed for our trip to Alola. It is gonna be fun once we actually get there. Now, it's just the stress of determining what we need to take. We have packed up the house so that Ash's mother can utilize it as she pleases while we are away. We couldn't take much since we'd be backpacking across Alola. At the start, it'd be just us, but we were hoping to make new friends.

Soon the phone rang. "I'll get it," Ash exclaimed as he ran towards the kitchen from our room. I guess he so desperately needed a break from this packing. Not much of this was going to Alola with us. So far, we only decided the essentials: Our Kalos adventure clothes and bags, our Pokémon, and whatever money we had. We knew for sure that we wanted to shop for some new tropical clothes once in Alola. Ash would be overheated if he wore that jacket and black tank top all throughout Alola. I would be too actually. Two layers of clothing would not be a good idea in a tropical setting.

I decided it was time for a break. I went into the kitchen to see what Ash was doing. I could hear him talking on the phone. As I approached him, I asked, "Who you talking to Ash?" Ash put the phone on speaker and said, "Say Hi you guys!" The two familiar voices came out of the phone. Clemont and Bonnie both said, "Hi Serena!" I replied, "Hey you two! What are you two doing?" Bonnie interrupted, "I can finally become a trainer! Clemont and I are gonna go get my starter from Professor Sycamore then we'll be heading to Alola because I want to catch all the cute Pokémon  there!" This came as a shock to me. Ash spoke up, "Bonnie, why don't you tell Serena what Pokémon you want from Sycamore?" Bonnie replied, "Oh! I'm gonna get a Froakie so that maybe me and it can have a bond like Ash and Greninja!" Clemont interrupted, "Yeah, we go to sycamore tomorrow, then we leave for Alola afterwards. Serena, Ash already told us you two are going, should we meet you at professor Kukui's lab?" I replied, "Yes, of course! Ash and I want to get our own starters from Alola as well." Clemont replied, "Awesome! We'll meet you on MeleMele island then. We'll wait at the Pokémon center before we go to the professor. I've gotta go! Bonnie wants to go see Sycamore right now. Bye!" After that, the click was heard from the phone hanging up. "Well, looks like it won't be just us anymore," Ash said happily. I nodded, "Yeah, Bonnie seems really excited to get her 'first' Pokémon from Sycamore. We should hurry up and finish packing so that we don't make them wait in Alola for too long. Especially with how eager Bonnie is." Ash agreed and we headed back to our room.

We finally settled on what to take. We were taking our one set of clothes, our pokemon and pokeballs, and whatever money we had. We didn't really think we needed much more than we already had. With all that set, we put our things together, and put them by the front door. We decided to leave for Alola in the morning since it was already kinda late. I'm so excited for Alola and it looks like Ash is too!
