Before I officially restart/Reboot this story I feel the need to make some small tweaks to the existing story to make the flow for what comes next feel authentic. Here are the changes, and I'll try to incorporate them into this chapter
1) Ash's team will now consist of : Pikachu, Greninja, and Rowlet
2) Serena's team will consist of: Gardevoir with mega stone, Litten.
3) Bonnie and Clemont will no longer be a massive part of this story and will be addressed accordingly.
With that all being said, let's get to it!

As Gardevoir and I ran into the pokemon center, I grabbed my bag, containing my pokemon and pokeballs. I waltzed in, seeing Ash getting us a room for the evening. It was then that I realized what every frequent flyer talks about, Jet lag. I felt honestly exhausted suddenly. I ran up to Ash and looked at him, "Ash? Are you feeling this tired too?" He shook his head, "Tired? No way! I'm ready to explore and see all the new pokemon!" Couldnt help but smile at how Ash was being so...Ash.

We got to the room allocated for us and I set my things by the doorway. I looked at my bag, realizing something. I had just acquired two new pokemon in addition to the three I had. This meant I had 5 pokemon and only one was from this region.  I would have to make a decision if i chose to be a trainer like Ash here in Alola. I sat down, deep in thought as I knew I had to cut friends from this adventure. Ash looked at me, "I know that look. You're trying to decide who to send off, aren't you?" I just nodded, unable to really get my thoughts to words. With that I felt a warm feeling beside me. Ash sat down and wrapped me in a welcoming embrace. "What i like to do when leaving for new adventures is start fresh. It helps to know that Professor Oak takes such good care of my pokemon when I leave. Pikachu will never leave my side as he's saved me more times than I can count. Greninja is just too powerful to ignore. He's a great guardian." I nod looking up at him. It was difficult to fathom but I knew what needed to happen. "I'm gonna send Braixen, and Pancham to my mom. She'll take care of them. Sylveon will go to Oak. She's great with your pokemon, Ash." He nodded, "Well when you are ready, there is a transfer PC by the front reception." I nodded as I looked back at my bag. My shrunken pokeballs seemed to shake a bit.

Suddenly pikachu hopped up on my shoulder and gave me a little lick on the cheek. "Thanks buddy," i say as i hold him softly. Regardless, pikachu was my always my defender whilst greninja played the role as Ash's defensive partner. "I think you need a nap before we do anything else, Serena. Why don't you lay back and relax?" I nodded, getting back in the bed and under the covers. The air conditioned room was so cold and the covers were so welcoming. I knew the jet-lag was catching up. The last thing I felt as my eyes got heavier and heavier was that familiar arm being wrapped around my stomach. Safety. A feeling that felt like home.
