Ash X Serena 2: A New Adventure

Chapter 2

The words that came from Ash's mouth would've normally scared me and sent me to tears. Now? Nothing. Part of me is even excited. Maybe this is what I need to escape this hellish nightmare of a life. However, I don't want that if it's not with Ash. He's my love, the one thing that's kept me going all this time. As much as I hate this lifestyle, I love Ash more than I hate this way of living. I can't live without Ash again. I prepared myself for what Ash was about to say.

"We need to leave Kanto, Serena. I can't take this anymore! Every new challenger is talking about this new region called Alola and how awesome it is there." Well, I have to admit, this was unexpected. I smirked and replied, "You want the thrill of a Pokémon journey again, don't you Ash?" He just nodded his head eagerly. I let out a sigh of relief. "What was that for," Ash asked. "Oh, You should know, this has been driving me insane too. I'm so alone when you're not here. I've made no friends and you've got Braixen, Sylveon, and Pancham with you. The loneliness is killing me. Let's go to Alola as soon as we can!" Ash started grinning as we both knew what this meant. A new adventure in a new region! New Pokémon, new friends, new memories! I felt a thirst for the old life again. "When will we leave Ash?! I want out of here so bad!" He scratched his head and spoke, "Well a new region means that I will encounter unseen Pokémon. I don't want to take my entire team so I'll leave some back here with Professor Oak like I always do when there's a new region to explore. So, to answer that question, I'd say, a couple of days to make the proper arrangements?" I smiled and kissed Ash's cheeks, "The sooner, the better! What Pokemon are you taking with you?" Just then, Pikachu came through a little pet door that was installed just for him. He came running in and jumped up on Ash's shoulders.

"Definitely my first Pokémon! Pikachu, you ready to go see Alola?!" The little yellow goofball did an eager fist bump in the air. Ash chuckled and continued, "Definitely Greninja too. With our special bond, he can be essential to us. If I leave him here, our bond will weaken for sure. What about you, Serena?" Well, I hadn't given this any thought because the news was all so sudden. "My first Pokémon for sure too! Braixen has been a huge help to me when I started my journey of finding you! Sylveon doesn't like anyone else's company except us so I'll feel bad leaving her behind. Pancham really likes Kanto and he used to be a huge help with keeping the house tidy. I'm sure he'd like to stay." Ash nodded in understanding as he handed my three pokeballs to me. I released my trio and they all stood before us. I decided to quickly catch them up on the situation.

My pokemon all seemed eager to for their position. Pancham didn't seem to want to go, but also didn't want to stay by himself so I decided he can come. Braixen and Sylveon are excited about going too. With that being cleared, I turned back to Ash, "What do you say we begin cooking supper? Before you ask, No, we're not going out either! I'm not getting caught in a Kanto storm again." Ash just scratched the back of his head, embarrassed, "That's fine. Or...we could order a pizza!" That didn't sound half bad. I wasn't really planning on cooking anything too complex anyway. "Alright, you place the order. I'm gonna go to our room and tidy up a bit." He nodded as he went to the kitchen counter where our landline was and started dialing a number.

I retreated back to our room and started dancing around. I was so excited to be doing something different and adventurous again! This was the best thing to happen to me since we arrived in Kanto. I thought about starting to pack some stuff together but decided against it. It can wait for another day. I'm not even all too sure what to take. We don't exactly have Clemont the chef with us, so who will cook on this adventure? I'm sure we'll get it figured out soon enough. I sat down on the bed and laid here, thinking of all the possibilities of what could happen. So many, it excited me even more!

Alright, that's it for chapter 2! Again, lots of ideas coming to me so I had to get this out. I'm sure you'll have many more chapters to come in the coming days. Tell me what you guys think about the start of this story.
