Delilah's POV
Over the last few weeks I had made several ankle length wrap around skirts out of the brightly colored silk sari material I had gotten from the fabric store. I loved layering two or three different colors and fabric patterns in each skirt, gradually making each layer a bit shorter so the fabric peeked out from the layer on top. I made them wrap- around s for convenience sake. It wouldn't matter how my body changed during pregnancy, this would be something I'd be able to wear from start to finish. I could combine them easily with tank tops or t-shirts, and I loved how comfortable they were in the warm early summer weather.

I wrapped the newest skirt around my waist. The top layer was a paisley patterned peacock blue, and the under layer was a vibrant purple with swirls of burgundy splashed through it. I loved the pattern I had found for these skirts. They fit closely around my waist and hips because of the tie, but then flared much wider at the bottom. The effect was the type of skirt that always had made me want to twirl in circles when I was a little girl. The lightweight silk fabrics fluttered when I walked, almost giving the skirts a life of their own.

I pulled on a black tank top. I did as Daryl requested and took off my panties. I wasn't sure what he had planned. I suspected that just knowing that I was "going commando" under my skirt would be a turn on for him, it certainly was for me. But knowing my horny redneck husband, I was pretty certain he had other plans also.

Daryl had taken Mercy into the bathroom to give her a quick bath and change her clothes. They came back into the bedroom just as I finished getting ready. "Hey pretty girl! Look at you all clean and yummy!" I said as I picked her up and pretended to nibble her neck.

She giggled and curled up into my shoulder. I patted her back, and she patted me with her tiny hand. "Mama."

"Yes. Mama. Where's Da?" She turned and pointed to Daryl who couldn't contain his big smile.

"Where's Max?" She looked around the room with a puzzled expression, then pointed her finger to the door. She wiggled to get down. I put her down and she toddled into the living room. "Mats!" she cried in delight when she found him. Daryl and I chuckled at her mispronunciation.

We all walked together to dinner. Max carried a smiling Mercy piggyback just ahead of us. Daryl wrapped his arm around my shoulders and pulled me close, kissing the top of my head. Roe was walking just behind us, carrying his guitar. "Awww. It's so nice ta see two old married folks still all lovey dovey with each other."

I glanced over my shoulder at him. "Shut up ass hat." Daryl chuckled.

Roe gasped playfully. "Well now I'm hurt! Here I was payin' y'all a compliment, and ya resort ta name callin'. Gran would be so disappointed in ya!"

I snorted as I laughed. "Gran woulda been the first one ta smack ya upside the back a yer thick head and tell ya ta stop bein' a ass Roe Casey!"

He chuckled. "Yeah... I sure do miss her!"

I sighed. "Yeah. Me too. She sure did know how ta keep the family in line, didn't she? I'll bet she'd a done great keepin' a family safe and fed in our current situation too."

Roe nodded in agreement. "Yup. I know she woulda. She taught us a lot a what we know. She'd a sure loved Dixon! She might a given ya a run fer yer money on him Lila girl!"

Daryl chuckled and looked at me. "Could be. I do love a woman with experience." he teased.

I shook my head. "Uh uh, no way! I'da fought for ya darlin'!" I wrapped my arm around his waist and pulled myself closer to him.
